This style of ligature is so much easier to use than the old metal double-screw ones and as far as I'm concerned, provide for a better grip on the reed and mouthpiece.

Sounds great. Produces a nice warm full sound and is easy to play definitely lives up to expectations. I wish I bought one of these years ago

Purchased for a student. BG allows the reed to resonate beautifully, nice step up from the standard ligature. Although the Vandoren Optimum is my preference of choice.

This is a very nice ligature and quite a step up from the one that came with my instrument. I am pretty much a beginner and my playing is still erratic enough that it is hard to say how this ligature may have improved my tone, but it fits very nicely on my Yamaha 4C mouthpiece.

Everything I have read about this ligature is true. It is a well made, excellent ligature. I believe my reed is vibrating better. Very happy.

Used on a Selmar C* mouthpiece. Works good. Needs a thicker brand of reed though, like a BARI synthetic. Good product.

I Have 3 Baritone Mouthpieces And This Ligature Only Fits 1 And That Is The Least Expensive Just The Standard That Comes With The Baritone,It Is To Big For My Rico Metalite And Selmer Ebonite Special Not Snug Enough For This Much Money For A Ligature It Should Fit More Mouthpieces Over All.

Very decent sound with a closed-face MP like the Vandoren M13. With open-faced mouthpieces/softer reeds, it doesn't really cut it, it seems, but with the M13 and a 3-3.5 strength reed it seems to do a better job than anything else I've tried (including Rovner, Vandoren Optimum and traditional string lig).Would recommend if strong reeds are your thing, otherwise you might struggle with a squeaky, unreliable sound in the upper register.
