We had a set of great wireless drills ... one with a chuck for drill bitsand the other for screwdriver bits. I could not find the one with thechuck. So I bought this item, and now this drill can be used for eitherdrilling or for using with screwdriver, etc bits. Oh yeah, then my sonfound the other drill! But .... glad this chuck works ...

I had been carrying a separate drill with me, but I find I use my impact driver 90% of the time and hardly use my drill at all. By having this CHUCK I can use the impact to drill. My impact is so much liter ad easy to use. Saves so much time and less to carry. It even drills better.

Shaft broke off, leaving metal in by drill (not sure how to clear it). Worked great, until it broke, now it's a problem as can't use drill

Simple solution for my impact drill that didn’t have a ratcheting mechanism for use with some older bits and attachments. Good but not great. We’ll see about the durability long-term. Additionally, it isn’t perfectly centered so if you’re doing super high RPM work, then it might throw it off a little bit on the balance.

…But when I want to unscrew something the bit clamp loosens and bit falls out so I don’t use it like I thought I might.

This Chuck to hex conversion is exactly what I needed. I didn't want one with a chuck key which is a lot of bother. I use it to put up my blinds (motorized) - one end to my small drill and the other to the 3/8 diameter shaft of the blind crank. No more hand cranking, just zips up and down.
