These are nice to use when you are putting something up to have a cushion between the screw and item being put up. I used it on license plates I hung on the fence for decoration. Also when I hung a shade cloth on the patio cover.

These are handy for so many projects. Working on Plexiglas or metal and you don't want to scratch the surface or you want a water repellent contact point you should have these handy. I now have three washer styles. One style is recessed so the screws spread put the contact wider from the hole. One style flat for ordinary use and these gasket style washers each has its own project in mind. I won't go without them again.

They dimple with relatively low torque. This is a great visual aid for installing twinwall polycarbonate, which you can crack/crush if you torque too far.
