An ultra-lightweight, compact, and versatile piece of backcountry furniture, the Big Agnes Skyline UL Stool provides a comfy place to rest after long days on the trail.
The stool employs lightweight, durable shock-corded aluminum poles and high-tenacity 70D Robic yarn. The soft fabric has a waterproof coating that increases its tear strength and overall durability. Despite weighing just 1 pound, 1 ounce, the stool can safely support up to 250 pounds.
The seat of the chair is 21" at its widest point and it sits 12" off of the ground. When not in use, the stool packs down inside the included 3.5" x 12" stuff sack.

Using for backwoods hiking. Comfortable to sit on and secure. Just can’t always sit on the ground! My one luxury item.

I have been using the small travel stools with three legs for a long time and finally got tired of how uncomfortable they get! This actually packs smaller, is lighter and way more comfortable! Can’t believe I waited so long to get this seat.

Very comfortable and plenty big for a 250lb stocky sport build. Doubles great as a foot rest for the BA bix six chair. Also nice and light to pack on hiking trips.

I'm going to be hiking in country where there won't be anything to sit down on and at my age (77) I don't want to sit on the ground. I had my doubts about a 15" high stool being comfortable but I didn't want anything more ambitious and heavier/larger. This one is 17 oz and folds up to fit easily strapped to the back of my waist pack. It assembles quickly, as all the aluminum tubes are connected with elastic cords so there is no doubt where each piece goes. The fabric seat sags just enough to make the stool feel stable and comfortable. Indeed I spent a half-hour sitting down for lunch on my test hike without any issues. It seems well made and should last. This is a keeper.

nice materials, bit pricy but very hard constructions to last many years

Perfect for my UL hiking hubby, and he's a heavy set dude too (about 250lbs), and it holds him as well. Definitely recommend!

Yes a bit slow to set up, but surprisingly comfortable, packs small, ideal for a nature bath or sitting to await a photograph.

It is not 14" seat height. My seat was 9" off the ground when I sat in this. I weight 227 lbs. It seems well made and holds me OK. It wiggles side to side a bit but I didn't feel like I was going to tip over or anything. If you are OK sitting almost on the ground, this might be a good product for you. It is very lightweight and seems well made.
