It is lightweight, easy to open and close, and seems sturdy to me. I love this! If you've got back or knee problems and you're stuck standing in line this is a great thing to take with you, especially if you get the version with the cushion. I wish I had discovered this thing years ago! I absolutely love it!

Easy to open or close, lightweight and fits neatly into carryon or backpack. Sturdy, good height to get up (most carry seats are too low).

Great if you need to take a quick rest. We also use it in or safe spot during tornado warnings and thunderstorms. Easy to carry and store.

Mechanism broke and I fell off stool... not happy at all. Can't reach company for support. Asurion warranty useless. Don't buy!
