It's a nice and handy little stool. However it does not stay closed when it is shut down. I've only had it for one month and I've used it everyday, it is only collapsed on me once and that is because I twisted while sitting on it. So if you buy one make sure you sit very still.

This collapsible stool is super convenient and easy to store. It’s lightweight but sturdy, making it perfect for working in the garage or cleaning around the house. Now I don’t have to squat anymore, which makes tasks much more comfortable. Folds up nicely for easy storage. Definitely a handy addition to my tools!

I've been interested in one of these collapsible/telescoping type stools for a while. The small size while folded up along with the light weight were very appealing. I will say that this is surprisingly sturdy for it's size. I kind of doubt the claims of 500lbs, at least for much use, but it certainly can support an over 200 lb adult.The still arrived quickly and was shipped in is own packing, however it didn't include any instructions so it took a minute or messing around with it to figure out how to get the different levels to lock into each other for stability, but overall it was easy to figure out and will be quick to set up or collapse.This stool by Kicysol is one of the lower priced options I've seen but it doesn't sacrifice quality.

I love how compact this is while being so sturdy. Very light weight too. Hubby is about 220 lbs and he felt very secure on it. Its also great that you can use the strap and toss it ok your shoulder/back. Very simple operation: there are finger holes on the top and bottom. Once fingers are in place you twist and pull until the little pegs are latched into place. To collapse pull out again with both sets of fingers twist counter clockwise and it will shrink back down to the size of a Frisbee. It's great to put this in my back pack and take it to events and can have a seat where I end up. Standing for a long time isn't fun, so this is a game changer. If you want added comfort bring a small cushion for your bum and you're living good!
