I made the mistake of purchasing par lights based on customer reviews, they were not nearly bright enough for my space. These were purchased to “bail me out of a bad decisionâ€! I will be converting all of my lighting to these! Able to accept a receiver and still tilt, super bright, slim, quiet cooling! 20’x22’ stage can easily be lit by six of these!

A couple years ago I started building a collection of inexpensive 36 RGB LED Parcans for some of the local community theatre groups I help with, and while a great starting point for those with limited budgets, there are a lot of downsides to them - especially how they're usually 3 sets of 12 LEDs of Red, Blue or Green LEDs, and not True RGB LEDs. In this unit, it's pretty obvious that they use more power full LEDs and that they are true RGBW LEDs. The full enclosure is ABS plastic, but between other units I've had directly from Big Dipper, as well as many of the other brands of 36 LED RGB Par Can's I haven't found it a concern, especially with a pretty large fan to cool the unit. The onboard controls are large, easy to use and to read, and if you shake the unit around there are no loose rattling parts (which I can't say about a number of the lower-cost par cans I've received. The DMX control was pretty easy to set up. While I didn't find it in the existing library of fixtures for QLC+ or Luminair, the manual includes everything you need to program a 4 or 8-channel profile. Its pretty similar to the 36 RGB LEDs controls, although you need to remember that there's a channel for controlling the white value.The only slight downside is that the mounting arms for this light are plastic rather than metal. The two arms are similar but slightly different sizes, so if you stack them in the correct order they will nest within one another after bolting to the fixture, but it's not labeled or mentioned in the manual. There's some flex, and can bend some under the weight of the fixture itself, but not much more than the thin metal arms I've had on other units. When the arms are doubled up, it feels much more rigid so I'm not worried about hanging the unit.Overall, if you're looking to upgrade from 36 RGB LED parcans, this is a solid upgrade. More powerful, better color mixing, and control of the white channel. The larger units and more powerful lights are probably good for most small to medium-sized venues

Love the brightness but hate the flimsy rigging yoke... The housing is made of light weight plastic but the price is a bargain.. I bought 2 sets and set them on a rotating wash light effect

segments of the lights are now purple all the time, and flickering.these lights have been used only one day a week since installation. very disappointed with the longevity, initial performance was great, deteriorated quickly, 8 months later we are having to replace them.

Stage light is great. It has good settings and connects well to dmx. I wish the power cord was a bit longer but it can be replaced.

I got these to light up the stage area in a local pub. I love that I don’t require a controller to use. I pre set my colours that I wanted and they always turn on to my last setting. I also use a couple of them for mobile karaoke shows.

The fan on this thing is an absolute dealbreaker. Not sure which specific purpose this light has. Certainly not suitable for a live show (music set, play, etc). It sounds like a mini blowdryer. And that's when there's no light output -- it gets EVEN LOUDER depending on the brightness intensity of the light output.The colors look great. The brightness is superb. Works great with DMX, and it even has built-in controls if you don't have a DMX board.But that fan...Sadly I can't use it.

Pour le prix, elles sont excellentes. J'apprécie qu'elles soient compactes. Le fait qu'elle soient en plastique ne dérange pas mon utilisation, au contraire elles sont plus légères.
