The flavours combine to give our charcoal the deepest and most characterful flavour. One batch can last up to 24 hours. That's fuel economy. It takes just 10 minutes to light with one of our firelighters. Comes as a 8kg bag.

Easy to light up/burns evenly and produces good heat!

Very disappointed. Bunch of pebble-kibble with rocks in every cook. Not worthy of BGE brand unless they are completely intent on watering it down. Evidently now made for them by another company. I have tried a bunch: cowboy, primo, royal oak this stuff and several others. The only one I can recommend so far is kamado joe XL. I have heard good things about jealous devil, fogo and rockwood as well but haven’t tried them yet. This one really surprises me. Prob shouldn’t tho with what they charge for their grills and what the accessories cost. Buy good stuff. Not this stuff.

Works well, better value than from BGE.

It’s not cheap, but it’s consistently excellent - and with a green egg of course the BBQ itself is incredibly efficient so it all turns out far more economical than you may think. Just make sure to shut off all air vents as soon as stopped cooking to help save on charcoal

This is a waste of time. Hardly any actual lumps. It’s virtually all very small chips. This makes the egg want to burn hotter and is tricky to manage the temperature. Almost any other lump wood is better than this. The price is disgusting for what you get. I love Big Green Egg stuff but selling this is appalling.
