Went back to this from a fancy locking hitch pin that was a pain to install and remove. This one works great. Do recommend.

I recently had a corroded hitch pin break hauling hay bailing equipment home.. Luckily it only took out a mailbox and not a mini wan.. Keep these replaced and in good shape if they look corroded or damaged in anyway replace them for less than $3 it’s worth the preventative measure. The pin that broke was a Reese by the way. This is the cheapest quality replacement I could find.

First pin I've used in the new truck. Normally I use a locking cap pin but can be a hassle when you just need a quick and easy hook up and drop off. This pin does that and economically. The groove cut in the pin is a lot easier to use than trying to stick the clip in a crossdrilled hole.
