Works great for an iPhone without a case. Magnet easily holds to the tank. Does not move while writing.

The only thing I dont like,is the phone gets hot while useing my maps and there is to much Glare. I opened the top to vent and that helped a little.

Strong magnets. The pouch is padded and held in place by Velcro. Those with thicker protective cases may want to remove the padded pouch. My phone has a thicker protective case because it has a compartment for my license and credit card. It was borderline of wanting to use the phone holder without the pouch. The has having 2 zippers, I can have my charging cord inserted into my phone and adjust the zippers around the cord. Overall very satisfied.

Would give 5 stars if the case could hold today's sized smart phones. This case does not allow samsung galaxy s23 ultra with otterbox defender protector to fit. The defender only adds about 1/8" to length and width of phone. Out of the otterbox protector the phone barely fits. Case should be at least an inch longer and wider to make it easy to insert phone (with or without protective covers). Giving 3 stars because it does work as designed....just not for bigger phones.
