This is a great t5 shifter. If noyour seat is back just a little too far this is what you need. Highly recommend it

Others have mentioned but this doesn't fit a T5 out of the box. The supplied hardware is much larger than stock and I assume most T5/T56 have the threaded shift arm this attaches to, meaning either drill tap the shift arm or use the stock bolts. Since I didnt want to ruin my shifter I chose to modify this. The mounting holes on this stick are much larger in diameter than the stock bolts, however the stock bolts have stainless sleeves to give the rubber vibration dampener something to hold on to, so I drilled the holes in the stick larger to accommodate the sleeves and bobs your auntie. Youll have to drim the sleeves laterally so a bandsaw or bench/hand grinder is needed. Otherwise, for the 35min it took to make it work Im still happy. Feels good, looks good and cheap.

This is probably one of the very few automotive parts you’ll purchase and feel like you got 10x the value that you paid. Included nuts and bolts did not fit stock t5, I just reused the oem ones. Placement is perfect. No more reaching for 3rd gear. Minor marks from milling but for the price it’s irrelevant. I could not get my shift knob to line up properly, I would recommend numberless knob because due to the design of the lever, a jam nut will be visible and ruin the aesthetic of the lever. You’ll have to remove the rubber washer on the stock shifter boot to fit. Overall, I could not recommend this enough.

Very happy this shifter lever. The increase in hight makes it easier for my wife to shift base it gives a little more leverage. I have a short throw shifter on the car but it made shifting harder for my wife so the extra length gives her more leverage plus with the white Hurst shifter ball it gives my 1999 Mustang GT convertible that old school look.

Doesn't fit great in my Hurst boot but the rubber boot has some give, so we'll see how long the boot holds together. Supplied hardware doesn't thread into my T5 either, so I used my own. Otherwise fine I guess.

Built a custom shifter and switched to a single cable shift. This worked perfect and looks more like a street rod manual !!
