Still some static, but this antenna did elliminate a lot of noise. I do have a powered amplifier in the antenna line, so that may be the reason it works well. Still, I have a better reception.

I must say I was surprised and disappointed. This gave me poorer reception than a single wire on the 75ohm unbalanced input of my Yamaha Receiver. I used a multimeter to ohm out the antenna and it appears to be made properly at least as far as continuity goes.I am down in the basement, however - which is not good for FM as it is line-of-sight transmission. I suspect getting this up higher would change the results.I am glad it did not cost more - I chucked it in a drawer.

This design is a classic and works as good as anything twice its price. The material is flexible and fits perfectly in the corner of a window frame, or you can just tape it anywhere for stereo FM signals.

I moved the location of my stereo and the speaker wire I was using for an antenna no longer worked. Static was so bad the tuner was unsable. Bought this based on positive reviews and it was a game changer. Signal comes in cristal clear and I can once again listen to my favorite saturday evening music program.

If you have a tuner with the two connection points for an FM antenna then you should absolutely be using some sort of an antenna. Whether you live in a city or a rural area this product is going to make a significant improvement in your reception. Stations that you are already able to receive will be much higher in fidelity. Stations that you were having difficulty pulling in will be much improved. You can leave the wires all balled up in the back and there will still be an improvement. If you go to the effort of mounting and positioning this antenna in a proper "T" formation you will get the best results. I am amazed at how much companies charge for this very simple wire antenna. The price charged by this seller is better than most. The construction could be more durable. The wire lengths are shorter than similar antennas I have used in the past. All in all I would give it 4 stars. It is markedly better than no antenna at all.
