Folks, let’s face it. FM Stereo receiver antennas are pretty much all the same. They’re ugly and serve only one purpose. To get better stereo reception for your receiver. That being said, you can go out and buy a really overpriced piece of wire, or you can buy this one for a really great price. They are the same. However, this antenna isn’t really that ugly and gives you extra connectors for almost any type of receiver that you’re not paying more for! Also, it comes with a long wire and adhesive to stick up in a window somewhere if you need it to. Mine works just fine stuffed behind the receiver. For the price point, it was a no brainer and I’m pleased with this purchase.

I actually didn't have much hope this antenna would solve my FM reception problem. But it actually works as described. (Increasingly, I had began to lose confidence in the Amazon review process, mostly due to my own bad experiences after purchasing products with hundreds of potentially questionable positive comments). This is an exception. Recommended.

The antenna will get you the radio stations that have a strong signal in your area, but if you want to get more stations and clearer sound I would definitely recommend a better antenna.

Indoor FM antennas are challenging. I've had two amplified antennas, one of which was somewhat satisfactory and other was a complete failure. The BingFu antenna is the most simple, yet the most satisfactory of the three. I installed it in five minutes and received the best reception I've ever had from my "target" - a classical music station 65 miles away. As you read the reviews of FM antennas, you note that they vary widely, and there always seems to be a significant number of reviews that rate them as "one star." One reason can be your geographical location. If you don't have a good line-of-sight to the station because of hills and vegetation, it may appear that the antenna is worthless. There is not much you can do about this problem. Another aspect is the location of the antenna within your house. Just moving the antenna to another wall or elevating it can make a world of difference. One advantage of the BingFu antenna is the long lead wire, which allows you to experiment with its placement. The signal strength can be improved significantly as you move the antenna. There is still another factor that will affect the effectiveness of this antenna. Some fluorescent and LED bulbs will degrade your reception, which may require that you simply turn off the offenders. To sum it up, I am amazed that this very inexpensive antenna gives me very best reception of any antenna I've owned. I'm thrilled to again be able to receive my favorite station.

My Sony receiver is tucked away in a cabinet below my TV. For an unknown reason the addition of a TV wall mounting bracket and a different TV really messed up the FM reception while using the ultra short wire type antenna that Sony packed in the box along with the receiver years ago. I wanted to get a different antenna and be able to relocate the antenna part well outside of the console. This seemed perfect since it has a nice long length of wire between the receiver screw on connection and the real antenna part. I was able to get crystal clear reception by placing the antenna away from the receiver and outside of the interference.The real benefit here is the long lead provided. It gives you options so you can locate the “T†antenna part in a place that has good reception but that also fits (hides it) in with the decor. It came with a stick pad for installing the “T†antenna onto a wall or the back of the cabinet. Me, I just found it works tucked in to a spot below the TV where we keep all the various remotes.

I have a new Yamaha tuner/receiver in my basement, close to my work area. The supplied FM antenna was inadequate and reception was poor, so I ordered this one. What a difference! FM stations come in clear and strong. A cinch to install (package include alternate plugs for other tuner brands). Very pleased.

Finally an antenna that bring solid FM reception on my Sony STR-DH130.It will now lock on far and near FM Station in my region (Ottawa, ON )No noise or shifting signal, absolutely please with the Bingfu FM Radio Antenna FM Dipole Antenna.Good work!
