Like the other reviews, I needed to provide my own screws. The ones that come with the product are just very flimsy and small. When I go to close the lid from a bench to a lid, it doesn’t fit because the slats were cut too long to fit around the bar for the awning easy fix though my son loves the sandbox even with the few flaws. it’s a nice product. It smells great, and once it’s all put together with the sand in it is very sturdy I use 300 pounds of sand it could’ve taken more, but there was no need to put any more in there

Sandbox with cover was very easy to assemble. Follow the directions and you shouldn’t have any issues. The size is perfect for 3-4 toddlers to sit on the benches and play inside the box. The canopy keeps the sand from getting hot and keeps the sun off the littles. If you close the box and lower the canopy when it rains, the sand stays dry. No issues with quality and would buy again. **Note*** I would always close and lower canopy when not being utilized to keep bugs out and to prevent damage in the event of strong winds.

Nice looking. However. The seats don't cover the sand completely. There is no bottom. So be sure to place it where you want it. The canopy top is flimsy. But keeps the kids in the shade. Good thing to cover it up when storm or raining. Fair purchase for what we wanted.

I’m not one to typically complain.. but it’s been about a month since we finally set this box up.(I purchased it in February ish??? For my son’s 1st bday in April. Wanted to wait till warmer to set it up)Well it rained for a week I had the canopy down and did my best but the canopy doesn’t protect the box at all!So next time I opened it up the wood is molded !!The bottom doesn’t attach so it’s easy access.Tonight I went out to the box and BUGS were everywhere! My son cannot play in this box!! I’m going to have to figure out how to get these bugs out. But for almost 200 dollars between the box and the sand to fill it. I’m furious!!! He can’t safely play! I wish I would have just gotten a cheap plastic 50 bucks on one and the kid would have at the VERY least protected the sand.It LOOKS beautiful. That’s IT. so so so dissatisfying. I would NEVER recommend this to be purchased. Which again I hate to be critical but it is just the truth!!

It is okay for the time the children will use it. The instructions were very hard to follow and I’m usually pretty good at building things. And it was missing screws. Wood also began to break when screwing screws in due to quality of wood. Overall I’d give it a 3/5 stars.

I love this sandbox!!!!! It closes when not being used. We have a lot of animals around our house and didn’t want them to go to the bathroom in it. This is great!! I thought it was well worth the money and having it delivered to your front door. Only bad thing was my son said the screws were so cheap they kept stippping so he had to buy better ones. I am buying another one for my grandkids house. I think it was still a good deal. You do need to put it together! It took about a half hour for my 24 year old son to do.

So, I got this “sandboxâ€I think it may be very cute and it would work for our infant but it’s definitely not anything as cozy as the photoshopped child in the marketing material. The child would be very snug!Also, the wood is not treated, so we can’t really set it up outside! Except I am not one to have an indoor sandbox.Returning! The product is a scam!
