I just love this cake tester. A little work of art & brilliant . The handle is wooden & so easy to hold without heat transfer & the metal tester part is very long. It is well made & you can use it it forever. It replaces trying to use toothpicks or wooden skewers & does not leave gaping holes or splinters .I use it for cakes, breads, casseroles, pies ,quiche & more. Proud to have it among my kitchen tools.
