These testers are better than I imagined. I was concerned that the needle/pick part was going to be too thick, especially without a pointed tip (couldn’t tell from pictures) but they are a very fine gauge while still sturdy and well soldered to the ample sized and quite heavy tab/handle. I don’t miss the needle tip at all and it’s much safer since I’m prone to stabbing myself. It’s great that I’ll no longer waste my bamboo skewers as cake testers; I wish I had bought these much sooner!!I hand washed them so I don’t know how they will weather the dishwasher but I have every expectation that they will last beautifully and for years to come! I’m very pleased after the first use and highly recommend them.

These are easy to find in my kitchen drawer because the top is a good size. The tester has a bit of weight to it which I also find is a positive. I've had cake testers that were so flimsy that they bend when you push them into whatever you are testing. There are four in a package. This was a good purchase and I would recommend them.

These are nice! Definitely a little skinnier than I thought they would be, sometimes I still resort to using a knife because I feel like you can't get a good enough read.

Perfect - long enough and easy to hold onto. Also enough magnetism to stick to the magnet on the oven.

I bake a good bit and these are the only testers I've ever had and used that I could use and not mess my cake up.
