It does just the job that I bought it for. By putting it down towards the bottom of the 55 gallon drum it keeps my drinking water from freezing here in the cold north. I have bought this before and they seem to last a long time. For that I’m very happy.

Works well for my purposes.I use it as a compost tea barrel warmer. It’s equipped to do far more than I need it to so I have to use it down around its lowest setting, but thus far everything is working great about it.

Bought at the end of October 2021. Have used it a handful of times and it burned out. This is the second one that has burned out after a few uses.

Poor quality. Burnt out on a low setting while warming honey, right after the return period ended. Has a white burn spot on the belt. Good thing it didn't start a fire. Don't waste your money or risk your safety.

Aunque la descripción del producto dice "La almohadilla de calefacción flexible se puede utilizar en tambores y barriles de 15 galones, 30 galones y 55 galones que son de acero o plástico de poliéster", sirve solo para tambores de 55 galones y no es ajustable para otros tambores. La compré expresamente para un tambor de 30 galones de polÃester, y no lo puedo usar. La banda supera por mucho la circunferencia del tambor.

Testing confirmed these band heaters are not 1200 watts at 120 volts. They are 750 watts based on the 6.2 amp draw at 120 volts. Also carry NO approval ratings
