Adheres well, this is meant for permanent adhesion, so removing without damage or residues is almost impossible. For the purpose, it works quite well. I used this to stick the house number to the painted siding and it worked great.

I have an old screen down that is falling apart in a couple places but is still generally serviceable. The only way to fix the issues is welding or double-sided tape, and I don't know how to weld. I tried some nano tape but it was not strong enough, so I ordered this 3m double-sided tape. It is foam tape as advertised, although a little on the thin side as compared to other foam tapes I've used in the past. That said, this tape adheres quite well and appears to be holding things together for the time being. Other than the relative thinness, I'm fairly satisfied with the product thus far.

I had a car in overall good condition, but the cosmetics were weakening. Some trim was either loose or needing paint, and one piece had sat on a garage shelf for a while. Having decided it was time to invest in some minor repairs, I used a decal remover drill pad to clean each spot, clean and touch up paint as needed, and reapply the trim with this tape. Easy to use, holds strong, and hasn’t come loose with driving or rain. 3M is always good!

This review is for: Black 3M Double Sided Mounting Tape, Waterproof 5925 VHB Foam Tape Adhesive Heavy Duty, 0.5 inch x 15 feetHard to tell what is authentic these days. However, this tape is very sticky and seems to be permanent.I used it to apply some address numbers to my mailbox and it worked great.My only real complaint is getting the red plastic off of the actual tape. It is so hard to find the edge.I wish they would sell a size assortment like they show in the picture. I would have liked to pay extra money and get all three sizes in one order like they show.

3M double sided mounting tapes are everywhere. Is it hard to tell if these are genuine 3M. but they do work as all other 3M double sided mounting tapes I have used. These are super sticky. So I recommend this as long as the price is competitive.

This is the usual thin black 3M tape.I've normally seen it used in automotive applications, but I've used it for all sorts of things.Car shades, cable hooks, art mounts, really it'll work for whatever.
