Very low profile with with sharp edges (not cut you sharp, but not sanded down smooth transitions) still is a comfortable rest and i will try it for awhile.Only bad thing is the mount is slightly bent or drilled at wrong angle. The feet sit at the edge instead of just past the edge.

this is the best chinrest for me. The product is thinner than the one I have and is mre comfortable to my chin. I am truly pleased.

This is a nice rest, the instructions and packaging leave much to be desired. If I didn't know how to put it on the violin, the instructions would not have helped at all, it doesn't include the tool needed to tighten it down either.
