I think this stuff works fantastic. I use it in many places where I would need a sticky caulk, and it works great for me. You can use it out in the weather elements and have no worries. I use it indoors and outdoors. It comes in several different colors. Very strong after curing. I have used the white color version on many different projects and I always let it cure several days before I use/rely on the repair. It has always worked excellent (See below my comments on cure time). This tube here is the black color and is ideal for sealing/adhesive needs for dark color objects. One thing that I would note -- they call it "fast cure" but directions say that full cure requires a minimum of a full day (24 hours). In my opinion, a full day is not really all that fast, and that 24 hours is based upon ideal weather conditions and a relatively thin bead. In my experience, it typically takes longer than a full day because weather conditions are seldom ideal. So keep that in mind when using this stuff. I think you need to assume a longer cure time. But if you can wait to use the item for several days, and you properly let this stuff cure several days, it really works well in my opinion.I really like it and would happily order again. 5-stars from me, buy it here!

The ingredients list is interesting. Starts out: Polyurethane Prepolymer (103837-45-2), Calcium Carbonate (103837-45-2), ...I don't know what the numbers in parentheses mean, but apparently this hardens to calcium carbonate embedded in polyurethane. Calcium carbonate is powdered limestone. This reminds me of a high temperature caulk that I have, that also has the ingredient calcium carbonate, which I figured was for fire resistance. In any case I expect the cured material will be very strong and will seal well if applied properly. It's 10 degrees F outside so I can't try this stuff outside at the moment, but I think it will be a permanent fix wherever I use it.The can is interesting. It's designed to go iinto a caulking gun, but it rattles like a spray paint can "rattle can". Apparently there's a propellant in there, so I don't know how much actual sealant one gets out of a can. The instructions advise using it all up within 24 hours after opening, rather than being able to seal it up and save it like regular caulk you would typically put into a caulk gun. This stuff is high-tech and different.

Used this on my 46' BurnsCraft houseboat and it cured very quickly and held EXTREMELY strong. You need to be careful with this as it's very effective, but that means it will stick to anything and everything.I didn't use it in for any waterproofing, just to secure items, but it's been a week and the item is rock solid.

The sealant worked great for my application on some plastic that I have water in. I’m sure it can be used for multiple applications that don’t have anything to do with marine type situations. I had a crack our Christmas tree stand so I sealed it with this and I have no issues now.

An absolute steal for $18 (at the time of review). I'm using it to do some boat repairs for which 5200 is the only way to go. If you're looking for 5200 in black, look no further! The fact it came with gloves was a nice little bonus.

If your use to doing boat repairs then you know this a must have. Great price for the amount you get.

We are restoring a flat bottom boat and love this sealant! It dries fairly quickly but being waterproof sure makes our job easier!

This FORTIVO STORE[Black] 5200 Marine Sealant - Fast Cure, High Bond Strength, UV Resistant Underwater Sealant really does work as advertised! I have an older welded base- 2500-gallon upright water tank, and the welds have ben seeping and leaking slowly for at least a month, and I picked this to fix the leaks. I ground the welds slightly- cleaned and spread this sealant over them- all the way around the base and even though there was wetness- this stuff sealed the seams instantly- even before curing completely. This should permanently fix the leaks after curing and seems to be an excellent waterproof sealant! Great find!
