I tried another brand of meditation bench and returned it. It had miss-assembled hinges, sloppy random stapling, and cheesy material. The Mudra Crafts bench is the best by far. I have the tall version, I'm about 5' 10", and recommend it. The sturdy Mudra Crafts bench is expensive but worth it. The craftmanship shows. The wood is unfinished but pretty. The brand on the bottom is stamped on, I think. It could be branded. The cushion is dense and firm.

I really like this product and appreciate features such as its sturdiness and light weight. If I was to tweak the product. The legs would be just a little less slanted. Before you put on the stuffing, I put a thin piece of thicker cushioning at the base. After kneeling a bit, I'm feeling the wood. And I'd put a handle on it. I'm adding that to it. Again, good product. I do like it and use it a lot.

I LOVE my Mandala Crafts Meditation Bench more than any other cushions or chairs I own or have tried. I highly recommend this product! The portability with the well crafted quiet and sturdy folding legs, the built in cushion, and the high quality craftsmanship combined with the very reasonable price makes this product a standout when compared to other meditation benches I've seen and used. I can't recommend this product enough! This is now my go to when meditating; I choose this bench over my meditation chair and cushion every time.

Extremely disappointed. I pulled my new bench out of the packaging and sat on it right away. Immediately one leg wobbled and I fell over sideways. When i turned the bench over I found on hinge hyperextended with screws pulling out of the bench, and sawdust on the floor. One screw has torn all the way out. I guess I'll be pulling out my wood putty and tey to make something work. I wouldn't have been surprised about this from a cheaper bench, but at this price point I expect to not get a DIY project

I was so excited for this bench. It’s comfortable and cute, the legs are pretty short though. But the main issue is that it collapses over and over. If I even shift my weight in the slightest one end will collapse. The hinges are not completely tight end, so it bows to the inside already. No matter how hard I pull them out they just won’t stay. It’s already collapsed on me twice and I had a knee replacement two years ago, this is not even going to work for me I’m bummed that I will have to send it back.

Pillow is comfortable but the brackets tend to close when you least expect it.I had hoped they were locking brackets but was disappointed.I’m ordered the more expensive prayer bench with no moving parts and like it much better

This is perfectly made from high quality wood, nicely finished. It folds simply with two strong hinges that when folded out stay in place. There is a very comfortable padding with a soft cover. I have used many of these type of benches over the years and this is the best that allows for long meditation periods without the discomfort most benches leave you with. I recommend this bench for your practice.

I like that this is so portable, easy to fold down and store someplace small. It is rather prone to collapsing on you though if you shift your weight side to side at all. I bought this to make it easier and less painful to sit seiza while playing koto. It’s definitely not bad but it would be better if there was a way of locking/latching the legs into place once open. All in all it’s not terrible but I would avoid this if your legs are knees aren’t great due to potential injury. It hurts A LOT when the wood collapses down on your ankle with all your weight on it!

Quality is not enough for the price.Shipping is the worst service/ they let the package at the entrance outside of the building. They don’t care about the customer service and expectations. I Wouldn’t recommend it never.

The quality of the product is very cheap. It does not justify the price . The padding cloth is stapled instead of tucked and clean finish. never expected this kind of quality.The wood is not durable and really the product is extremely cheap quality.
