I had to replace the entire wooden post plus the mailbox and it had easy instructions to assemble. I’m very happy with it clean and nice.

The mailbox was a bit warped (not fully arched at the open end, had a bit of a point instead, and the closed end was folded over). The rolled over edge was exposed when I received the box so there was raw metal showing, and some scratches on it. Didn’t feel like repackaging and returning or replacing, so drilled some holes to mount on the existing post, added the numbers, and it looks 10x better than the old mailbox.

I bought this mailbox to make my mail person have an easier time delivering my mail not having to come up the steps. I’m going to mount it on my railing. Looking forward to putting it up! Took it off of the box and it’s exactly what I was expecting! Very satisfied ðŸ‘

beware---this does not come with the bracket (which you screw the mailbox into) that sits on the post. So either you'll end up returning it or taking a trip to the local hardware store to find one...

Easy to install but came without lots of needed hardware. I had to run to the hardware store to get pieces and parts to assemble this. Went on my post easy though and looks good. The adjustable clip that keeps the door closed likes to wander even tightened all the way. Seems durable and better then plastic parts any day.

I am reviewing the Metal Mailboxes for Outside Post-Mount, RAINHOL Black Rural Mailbox, Galvanized Steel Heavy Duty Mailbox, Medium Compacity, 20 x 8.7 x 6.7 inches...I was pretty impressed with the size and quality of this mailbox. It needed some assembly for the door and the flag, but it was pretty easy to do. You will need a Philips screwdriver and a pair of pliers to assemble it. I have horse that is made to be a mailbox topper, and it is going to look really nice on this mailbox. It looks to be well made and built with quality materials and workmanship. i am curious how long it will last in the northern Ontario winters that we get here. It has a good weight to it, which speaks a lot about the quality. Overall a great product that I will be recommending to others.

Well it’s that time of the year again…..you know, the one when the snowplow drivers try to see how many mailboxes they can take out in a night!Well mine had succumb to the plow man early this year, so it was nice to be ready with a new replacement. LOL…The mail box takes a mere few seconds to attach the flag and the handle, and now I’m all set to get my bills again……oh wait I forgot……..Canada Post is on strike (again) so no bills for a while! LOL….I was however gifted a small token of appreciation after clearing my neighbours driveway the other day.
