We needed a good solution to a BIG problem with our fountain pump which was heating up and growing uncontrollable algae. I needed to create semi permanent shade with something that would hold up to wind and rain. This screening shade was the perfect solution to the mid summer's sun that was killing my fish AND growing green water! It still allows sun (about 30%) through but it's keeping the temp down and the algae gone! It's grommets are reinforced and it's secured with eye and chain links which make it easy to install and remove when not needed. It's held up great during storms and wind as well!

Using it as a temporary cover for my cat patio. Its Held up in the wind well so far. Has a few spots that are starting to break. It was the correct size and shade.

It is very light weight. I hope it will hold up through the monsoon weather. It does shade my windows very well! Still a good price and I will purchase another one if needed.

We were looking for something that would shade the bog of our water feature during the hottest part of the day. Our water feature gets southern sun all day long so we struggled to get our plants to grow well. We purchased an arched trellis with the idea that we would use the plants to shade the area - but it would take until the end of the season for them to grow in enough. Plus we would have the added headache of keeping them watered in the extreme sun. We purchased this and rigged it so it covers what we need. Its not an elegant solution - but it's doing the job and the price was right! It's got really strong reinforced grommets and we've had no problem with it in strong winds. Really happy with our purchase.

Material is not good quality, very thin as-well, it will not help at all if we get strong winds.
