I decided to use this for a temporary fence on my property line with a golf course. Looks great and is very sturdy. Now if a drunk golfer wants to disrespectfully drive his cart through my lawn, at least he will get clotheslined!

It has a nylon fiber core, with cotton braided on top. Used backstage (and on-stage, but you don't see it) in theater's across the world. Great stuff. Has a million uses.

I bought this to macrame chair backs, and it was perfect for that. I wouldn't use this for exterior chairs, since the outer sheath is cotton. But for macrame you want the inner core to be the same color as the outer sheath, like this is. Also, it is very strong and easy to work with.

Top of spool was broken in the box. When I pulled it out, all the line unspooled. The spool ends are put together with hot glue. Crap. I returned.
