A few of the screens in my new house had some small damage spots. I bought this screen repair tape to cover those spots and eliminate fly and mosquito intrusion. The sticky substance is very sticky once you peel the backing off. I followed the directions wiping down the screen then cutting the strips to size and installing. I opted to put a corresponding out piece against every inner screen piece to eliminate a sticky surface facing the exterior that could collect bugs or stray grass, dirt, etc to stick against the screen. That worked well. It's been installed for months with plenty of weather exposure and no degradation of staying in place. Very economical and easy spot fix solution.

This works pretty nicely. Clean and thoroughly dry the surface before applying. The tape is super sticky and can be tricky to work with, using a hair dryer after applying the tape can help to set it faster. I put a strip of tape on both sides of the screen where the rips were for more strength. I used this before Hurricane Milton, and although I wasn't in the more affected zones, we had some high winds from it in the area, and it held up well to that. I'd order it again if the need arises.

The product functions for what you need it for and it’s thick enough to do the job. Even the installation was pretty easy, it stuck to the old screen nicely I’ve had it on as a patch for a few months now with no issues. But the color didn’t match my screen it’s probably due to the age of the old screen. But overall good value for the money!

Have bought this more than once. Such a handy solution for patching screens until they can be fixed. First time bought 2in but second time 4in. They extra coverage is helpful.

Con due gatti, devastatori di zanzariere professionisti, avevo la necessità di mettere delle toppe.Questo nastro è molto efficace, aderisce e si incolla benissimo. Ovvio che la riparazione si veda, se come me fate due strisce da attaccare sul fronte e sul retro della zanzariera. Mettendo il nastro da una sola parte, naturalmente la riparazione è molto meno visibile.

Habe dieses Produkt für kleine Ausbesserungen bei unseren Insektengittern gekauft. Handhabung ist kinderleicht. Wer einen Klebestreifen kleben kann hat hier auch keine Probleme. Anfangshaftung ist bombastisch und auch nach dem ersten Winter bleibt alles an Ort und Stelle.Klare Kaufempfehlung.
