Like almost everyone else has said - these are great racks. I hesitate to call them "bottle cages" because although they are cage-like, and can certainly hold water bottles, they are so much more versatile than that. Expensive compared to other options? Yes. "Light" compared to other options? Maybe not but it doesn't matter because: More versatile compared to other options? 100% yes. Yes, the straps are long-ish and it's easy to complain about that when you don't need long straps....but the second that you do? You will be very happy about it and honestly, it's easy to address in a variety of ways. I think I was left wanting a buckle quick-release on the straps, but I understand why they didn't do it (probably because they are sturdier/more reliable with just the drop in/slide in option). I definitely don't think it was a cost-cutting measure. Lastly, I like that they are not so wide/bulky that they can be attached in the frame but also wide enough and strong enough that they could serve as primary bag holders when attached to a fork, etc. Great racks and definitely worth the price.

Most water bottle cages are built for small water bottles. Like, 20oz small. I'm a thirsty man who sweats a lot. I drink a lot of water. I mounted this to my top frame mount. For longer rides, I carry 32+20+20oz of water. That's usually enough for me to go all day, especially if I 'camel up' before the ride. I added the Nalgene insulated cover to my Nalgene bottle, which also has a strap on it. This combo securely holds the Nalgene even on the roughest trails and keeps my water nice and cold. The price is a little steep for what this is, but it's made of quality material with anti-slip straps. Works for all sorts of things - tool bags and pouches, water bottles, whatever you can get creative with. Highly recommended.

Great for the price. Very light weight and easy to mount. Important note for buyers who don’t have a fork with three mount points such as on my Surly LHT, you will only be able to attach one screw. I used the lower one on the top mount on the cage and then a hose clamp for the lower. I tested various methods to attach these and settled on this and have had zero problems with it for hundreds of miles of riding now. ZIP TIES ARE NOT ENOUGH! Use a hose clamp and make sure you put something between the cage and your fork to protect the fork. I used a piece of inner tube with some light adhesive spray to hold it on the frame, it works very well.

Built to last. The straps are long enough to allow to secure just about anything you can grab at a supermarket. The only "I wish it was better designed" are about the straps. Whenever the cage is empty, there is no way to secure the loose straps other than wrap them around the cage. In my opinion, this is too cumbersome process.Overall, If you are in need of a cage to carry wide containers, this is it.

Solid option in an actual aluminum rack. I've seen other injection molded options which are slightly less expensive. But for MTB bike touring, it seems like a no-brainer that they'd eventually fail at some critical moment. I like this Blackburn rack so much I purchased a second one for under the down tube mounting of my camp stove. I mounted this one to FOX 38 suspension lowers using three SKS Anywhere Adapter Cage mounts-- completely solid carrying a 32 oz water bottle, even on trails.

I own 7 of these - I can't stop buying them and fit them to most of my bikes. I use them to replace the bottle holders as I use a bladder on my back for water when Bikepacking. If your bike has fork mounts then these are a no briainer and I prefer them to other brands as they are robust, the straps are super tough and grippy, on the fork legs I can carry a cook kit and dry bags on the other - underneath the downtube I carry a bottle of fuel for the cooker - owning several means not having to swap them from bike to bike and everything is kept nice and streamlined. If you dont have the braze ons you can of course use zip ties to strap them on - I've used a slice of old inner tube behind then to both protect the fork leg and provide extra grippiness. For bike packing I'd say they were a gamechanger. 1 is none and 2 is one but 7 is still not enough !!

Well made. The weld goes the whole length. Perfect length for my suspension forks, as it will not interfere with my brakes. I thought it would be too wide, but surprisingly perfect! It fits the 1.5 litre tall Nalgene bottle with a little room to spare, like combining it with a fork bag. Nice to have options.
