Excellent fan for the money. Very quiet and moves air! Two best features are the remote and that it oscillates. The fan blade cage is very thin and was rubbing against the blade slightly, but I was able to bend the cage out.

This little fan has 3 setting, low, medium and high. It blows quite well at a medium setting and it is not large. I use it on my TV consul to cool the room down. This is the second one I have boughten and they have stood the test of time. Good for dorm rooms, bathrooms, bedrooms or living rooms.

My wife is always cold so I have to run the central heat a little higher than I want. This fan is perfect for the table by my chair, just the right size to cool me down when I’m in the house with her. I still have room for my yeti glass of water I drink as well as the table lamp. The only thing I don’t like is the switch is on the back of the fan so I have to pick the fan up and turn it around to turn the knob. It’s not a huge hassle but it did keep it from getting 5 stars. I think all fan switches should be on the front of the fan. Black and decker is a brand I can trust so keep that in mind. The fan puts out very good wind and is not too loud for the amount of wind it produces. I don’t have to turn the volume up on the tv to use it. It’s a 3 speed motor so on high speed I may have to turn the volume up. Good fan. I recommend it. Especially if your wife is cold but your not. Lol.

Good little fan with decent power and airflow. Sturdy design and will take a bumb or two. Would be good for a small apartment or handyman shop

I don't really like writing negative reviews unless a project really falls flat. I purchased two of these fans. The room I use for my 3D printers has no real circulation, so the room tends to get warm after hours and hours of 3D printing. The extra heat in the room I found out was causing occasional and frustrating print failures. I bought these fans to mount above my 3D printers to give extra air flow, and tada.. no more print failures. However, one of the two fans out of the box speed setting 2 on the fan didn't work. Must be a bad switch? Because setting 1 and 3 worked. Problem was, air flow on setting two was perfect for what I was using the fan for. So I sent it back for replacement. The replacement (now my 3rd fan) worked fine out of the box, but now after 3 months, setting 1 on the fan quit working a few days ago, then setting 2 on the fan quit working a couple days ago, now setting 3 on the fan doesn't work. The fan is just dead.It does claim a one year warranty , but how much of my time do I want to waste to get a replacement from the manufacture for a $20 fan?So we are looking at 3 fans and a failure rate of 66%. And I wouldn't be surprised if the one remaining working fan quits working at any day now.This is pretty pathetic considering I have multiple other larger box type fans and rotating fans that are over 30 years old that still work perfectly fine.If you are looking for a small desktop fan, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

I have a similar fan, the exact same size. I wanted another one and this was cheaper. It is also MUCH BETTER! I cannot believe the power this thing has, seriously. Its lowest setting is the same as the highest on my old one. The highest setting is unbelievably strong. I'm of the age where I remember the old school big tall powerful Super fans. Quality has gotten so bad with fans that this one has pleasantly surprised me, like a LOT. It showed up as advertised, exactly what I was hoping for but superior quality. I could not be more impressed.
