I was sold a defective grill, I contacted customer support and send me some replacement parts. Unfortunately the parts can’t be installed because electrical circuits and connectors melted inside the grill on the first test fire up. The grill was installed as per all the instructions by a professional and there is no reason why internal components should burn on the first time the grill is used. But it’s a high price grill that came defective for internal components.

When my 25yo Viking but the dust, I wanted a grill that wouldn't cost me $1000 in burners, heat spreaders, and grates every few years. This Blaze grill is focused on the longevity of those key parts, without the extra frills that I don't need. I am extremely happy with my purchase after six months. The grill is easy to maintain, looks great, and most importantly makes great grilled and BBQ fare.My only complaint is that the burners run a little hot. Even on low, it is possible to burn chicken with direct heat. The old Viking was amazing because it was impossible to burn chicken from med-low on down. The solution to that problem with the blaze is a rotisserie. If I can get the meat on the spit or in a rotiss basket, I cook it on the rotisserie and it comes out just as good or better than the Viking. You do need to remove the 3 center grates and heat spreaders to use the rotisserie, so it helps to have a place to store them. The rotisserie burner is good, maybe a touch underpowered, but you can always remove your drip pan and turn on the middle burners to crisp up a bird. For searing, I use the flame burners, didn't get the infrared. They get extremely hot and if you're not careful you'll burn the meat while searing. To compliment the Blaze, I bought a meater Bluetooth temp probe, instant temp probe, a rotisserie kit, a rotisserie basket, wood pellet smoke tube, green scotch Brite pads, and stainless steel wipes. That should be all you need. I clean the grates, spreaders, and burners with the pads in the sink. I did also get a coarse Nylon brush for cleaning, but I don't use it. The wipes are for the exterior.

Spend your money elsewhere if you put any meat on here with any kind of fat in it, it will flame up it will flare up and burn. it does not get hot enough to sear a steak unless it’s on fire.
