Moving into a new home can be very expensive indeed. The cost factor is ever on your mind. When every room with windows needs a window covering, where do you begin? I ordered these shades and put them up a couple of months before we started a big remodel. The first time I put them up I had the directions and it took me a while to get them lined up correctly. Now I'm putting things back up post remodel and I have to say they were much easier to put up by just watching the video. They function great and are perfect for my office window that gets the sun in the afternoon and at evening. I like that I can have them closed at the bottom for privacy yet open at the top to let the breeze in. I will order more for my guest room once I get it set back up.

The length and width fit our windows perfectly. They were vey easy to install and they look great. The white is true to its color, material is sturdy and I particularly like the top bar that covers the mechanisms. The top down, bottom up is perfect for our front facing, first floor bedroom. It is light filtering and the sun shines through bright in the morning. One daughter likes this and other says too bright. They slide down with ease, nice and smooth, but my only negative is they take effort to pull up. It is not smooth. I thought they would improve with more use, and they have somewhat. Overall, I am pleased with these shades.

These shades are a great solution to offer privacy and daylight at the same time. With typical "bottom up" shades, if you want to let in the daylight you've got to expose yourself to your neighbors. With the "top down" option, you can see trees, rooftops and blue sky without sacrificing your privacy. They are beautiful and very clean looking without the cords. Two notes: Be very careful with your width measurements. Several of my shades were so tight I couldn't add the side trim pieces. No big deal. And if you're mounting the shades inside the window opening, I recommend leaving off the top trim pieces because they interfere with the latching clips.

My puppy tore up the custom blinds that came with my house. I really couldn’t not have blinds in this particular window, so I was super upset knowing that when I have ordered custom blinds in the past, it’s been a small fortune. I can’t emphasize enough how nice these blinds are. Much nicer than the ones that I’m replacing and the price is amazing. The ones I’m replacing we’re not cordless. These are sturdy and super easy to install. When I can afford it, I’m going to replace three other windows in my house. Also telling my Neighbors about these. Quality, affordable, durable.

These are great. Set up super quick. The winter white was perfect color for our builder grade cream trim on window casings. One tip- the first time you lower the top bar of the shade (separating it from the stationary bar installed against the window casing) use both hands and as carefully as you can try to pull down EVENLY from both sides - from the very start! It can be a little difficult getting your fingers around to get a grip all while not pulling the shade down on one side or the other. I think not doing this is what causes the unevenness that some people are experiencing because once it’s pulling unevenly, it’s very difficult to fix, even if it is only slightly crooked. Always use both hands when pulling the top part down. Pulling down either the top or bottom has noticeable tension (if you don’t use both hands it feels like you could break it), while pulling either one up has virtually none, fyi.

Purchased one first installed & then purchased the 2more. Both in “Fawn “ & NON blk out & ALL different sizes ..As others have noted: they’re not hard to install at all.However, they need to be gently handled. If you are going to be constantly be tugging on them? You might want to reconsider as they’re very lightweight but hold their form nicely.I have had them now a couple of months & they still look very nice. The only other caveat is that like others have mentioned ) there’s a teeny tiny bit of a “lag†between the top & the to shade. It’s barely noticeable but I do notice ( out of 3) 2 of them do this. For me it’s not that noticeable at all & im probably just super picky..They look very nice and have this kind of light filtering ombe ish look and in the fawn they are very nice and neutral but not boring. A good design here for really any decor I think.So if you are wanting something that’s on the less expensive side that looks really cute ? These are great!All of mine go up and down easily but I make sure I’m careful w them. Would def buy againFast shipping & perfect fit just make sure you read the specs and how to measure for them.
