AC blower control module, AKA blower control module. The AC Blower Motor Resistor controls the fan speed in your AC and heating system. If you can no longer adjust the air speed with your AC controls or your AC system no longer blows chances are you need a new Blower Motor Resistor. The AC Blower Motor Resistor is located on lower passenger side dash and is easily accessible by removing a few screws. Regular maintenance and inspections are vital to ensure the smooth operation of your air conditioning system. Installation steps：

My 2005 Silverado was suffering from poor airflow form the fan. Well, truthfully I was the one suffering. So I replaced this blower motor and the motor resistor. Now I have great airflow and heat and air work excellently.

I have been replacing parts on my 2007 GMC sierra when I can and when I can afford it. Since it’s almost a 20 year old truck thing are starting to wear out. This resistor was not different. I replaced the blowed and this resistor at that same time which made the installation much easier doing it this way. This blower resistor worked just fine for me once it was installed.
