This little kibbles are perfect for automatic feeders and for finicky cats with sensitive stomachs. My kittly loves these and I don’t have to worry about upset stomach issues with this food. Excellent product!

Vet prescribed Royal Canin hydrolized protein for my cat with pancreatic insufficiency. Most of these products use soy for their protein. I have always loved Blue Buffalo regular dry food for my cats. Blue buffalo uses salmon for their hydrolized protein. I decided to risk it in spite of bad reviews. I am writing this review because my cats love this quality product. U can read and pronounce the ingredients contained in the food. It has drastically reduced vomiting and diarrhea. I'm going to tell my vet about Blue Buffalo. My 12 year old cat had lost a lot of weight and is finally putting some back on. I highly recommend this product.

my cats love this, didn't even need to mix with old food and they are exceptionally picky. ate th his right out of bag. 1 cat needs this, but his sister who doesn't loves it better than her regular food. if it was less expensive and came in a bigger bag, I'd feed it to both, but price and size I believe are exorbitant. will keep buying for my little guy with inflammatory bowel who needs it, but really.......

She’s eating this hydrolyzed food which is a little less expensive than its competition.UPDATE! She is now eating this better than she did the other name-brand hydrolyzed foods. Her skin allergy is under control with this food in combination with Atopica (that I get compounded into small capsules at the pharmacy to make it taste like chicken! Costs more but she actually takes it that way, so no wasted meds or agonizing torture for her which is more important than the cost to me.)I recently ordered the canned version of this same brand of hydrolyzed cat food. Like others have said, I ALSO should have read the bad reviews! I think if I were to remove the contents of a can in one piece and drop it, it would bounce across the kitchen floor like a rubber ball. That’s what it reminds me of, rubber. I have to chop it into little pieces, smoosh it down and add water just to make it slightly resemble cat food. She will eat it in the morning if she hasn’t eaten in awhile, but only a little. In addition to this, my cat has started licking and chewing herself again ever since I gave her the first can. The whole purpose of this food is to prevent that. She was fine before this just eating the dry version! This makes me wonder what’s REALLY in this canned version.5/27/22 UpdateTink’s fur was sooo much softer while she was on the Hills Hydrolyzed diet wet/canned food, and she actually liked it. Now she’s on her third can of this brand and her fur has become rougher, AND she’s still chewing on her legs. I thought that since she liked the dry food, she would like this as well. NOPE! She will eat about a tablespoon in the morning surrounded with a moat of water around it, but only because she’s thirsty. When the water’s gone she walks away. This canned food is NOT worth the expense. She doesn’t like it, and it doesn’t help her allergies.I will keep giving it to her to get her to drink more water which she needs.Oh, yeah, this food smells more like grain fillers than actual fish. The Hills diet actually smells like it’s made with real fish. They are both expensive, but if I have to continue buying canned I will purchase the “Hills ZD Hydrolyzed canned cat food” over this brand any day.

I tried so many HP foods that just did not work out. My cat would throw up, get skin patches and irritation, and stinky (fatty) poops. His chronic pancreatitis has been so well controlled on this food. Please never change or discontinue it. My cat needs it to live

My cat has a food allergy and vet recommended us to use this. Seems like my cat doesn’t hate it but barely stands it. It worths the money as we don’t have another choice. Still the price is ridiculous.

Daisy is getting up there in years and has digestive issues. She was prescribed Royal Canin Hydrolized Protein food, which not only is obscenely expensive, but also made from soy protein and most unappetizing! Poor thing choked it down for months. So i was looking for an alternative and ordered a bag of Blue, and boy, was she happy! This kibble is tasty! And her health is good, no adverse effects... on the contrary-- i feel much better feeding her salmon than soy!

I have a cat that has very bad food allergies and my vet recommended to feed him only hydrolyzed dry food. All the other brands on the market are made of non healthy ingredients. This was the only brand I could find that has natural ingredients . It's expensive, but provides high quality food.
