Cats love it as far we can tell.

I've got a cat that's allergic to store bought cat food. It caused a lesion to appear on his lip. My vet recommended this. That was 8 years ago. He has never tired of eating this food. My dearly departed cats from days gone by would get tired of their food and I would have to search for something else until they tired of that. Not this stuff. I'd recommend it even if your cat doesn't have allergies. It's pricey but necessary in my case. I was buying at the vet for about $10 more for 8.5lb bag. Glad it's sold here for less.

I love the product. My cat loves it too. We were recommended this food by our vet because our cat has a frequent vomiting issue cured by shots, which she hates. Hill's Prescription d/d did the trick. However, it is WAY overpriced on Amazon. The 3.5lb bag is $28 on Peapod, and actually less than that directly from my vet!

I got this on my vet’s recommendation for one of my cats with food allergies. Unfortunately, my cats would rather stage a hunger strike than eat this. Even when I mix it with their regular food, they somehow surgically remove every piece of this kibble and leave it behind like tiny, judgmental food critics. I’m sure the ingredients are great for sensitive cats, but that only helps if they actually eat it. Giving it 3 stars for quality, but my cats would give it negative 5.

Cannot really say much about it. But my cat will not eat it unless I mix it with wet food. It was prescribed by the veterinarian. So far haven’t seen any improvement with her condition.

After my cats got sick from eating the same flavor Natural Balance dry food, I switched to Hill's Prescription diet Venison and yellow pea dry food. They love the flavor and they digest it well. I trust Hill's brand for my cat's food needs.

I ordered Venison D/D instead of pea. My cat will not eat it. I submitted a review wondering if it was a bad batch but the customer service line at Hill's help me figure out that the problem was the change in food, not the product. She was very helpful

My cat has food sensitivity and my vet put her on Royal Canine food, which she loves. I thought I would try this stuff because it was more convenient - big mistake. At first I tried to transition to this food by mixing it with her regular food. She not only refused to eat it, she also refused to set her regular food after it had been mixed with it! So I thought, “I’ll give it to the dog as a treat “, he refused to eat it! I had been putting dry food out for stray cats etc. but when I put this out they refused to eat it and pushed it out of the dish onto the ground. Don’t waste your money.
