I bought this a few months ago but just used it for the first time this past week. It spreads well and is very easy to use. It dries very fast. Good product.

I’m used to Utrecht gesso but this is just like it. Nice and dense, thick and effective. And cheaper.

Gesso product to prep canvas for acrylic painting. I like the coverage and ease of use of Gesso. Nice results.

This gesso has a very creamy texture & not heavy. You can use it straight out of the jar without thinning. It mixes easily with standard acrylic paint. I used the paint & gesso mix to tone my canvas. It has a standard matte finish & dries quickly.The only issue that I had was initially opening the jar after removing the strip seal. I had to use a heavy duty palette knife to loosen the lid. No other issues.

What a terrific product! It is affordable, smooth, and really great at covering a surface. I will certainly buy it again.

This stuff is great. It covered a 5x5 foot huge painting. I even thinned a little with water and it still worked well

Works but extremely thick. Was surprised when I took their off and jar was barely half way full. Did weights and wasn’t even close so not happy with that.

I’m an amateur crafter but this is hands down the best gesso for two reasons.It’s good value.It gives amazing coverage over my lumpy plaster and sculpture works. It has the consistency of delicious cream cheese. Also dries a beautiful bright white. Highly recommend it.
