Got this to replace throttle cable and housing for my bike. The housing is made of steel and is fairly heavy duty. Product works great and I could see this working well for any go-cart type throttle setup as well.

OK, they are pink, but for the price of $9, I can live with rebuilding my utilitarian bike with a decent quality cable at a very reasonable price.

For the price this cable seems like a winner. Proper, coated steel cable in a funky color. The inners seem good enough, but note that they are for MTB-style levers and not road levers. Comes with ferrules and cable caps, which I thought was a nice touch. Not sure I'd trust them for anything I'm riding hard, but for normal commuter or other common applications they seem totally fine.I too buy parts on Amazon, but don't forget to also support your local bike shop!
