I needed only one of these but could not find just one at a decent price. Therefore I bought the three and have two left over. They float works quite well and cuts the water off as advertised. It is connected to a pressurized line and works just like a toilet float does. I use it to water chickens through a gravity fed system. The water fills the bucket and the float cuts the water off and keeps the bucket full.

Lower water flow than the OEM Portacool float valve but it works. If you let it run empty it takes a lot longer to fill it up. Make sure you adjust the shutoff to keep the water below the fan if you use the for the same application otherwise, you could damage the fan or potentially have a shocking experience. For the price this was the best solution and I can use the rest of them to make some water troughs "auto" fill.

This valve was a one-to-one replacement for a worn valve on our pond filler. Once it was screwed into the existing threads, it worked like a champ with no leaking.

Ingenious little item that has few moving parts and made from a real durable plastic to avoid corrosion and rust issues. Used it to rig an auto filing water bowl for my dog and some friends dogs at the dog walk and play park...also on amazon I got a small solar fountain pump to fit my project and so it’s rigged to filter out any grass or leaves that sloppy dogs get in the water. The water pump also makes a nice noise to attract the dogs and aerates the water and they even like drinking from the stream before it hits the bowl. I want to test it more then will send pics if it’s a perfect success
