Installed this on my 2015 Ram Express 4WD. Fairly straightforward installation, product was well-packaged and the instructions are very clear and easy-to-read. You will have to remove the panhard bar to get this on. Be prepared; the panhard bar bolts are on very tight. Do yourself a favor and lower the spare tire too, give yourself some extra room to work. No gasket is supplied, I did not use RTV as specified in the instructions, instead I used the LubeLocker gasket (part # LLR-C925). Great differential cover, and looks fantastic.

Had mines powder coated red. It was an easy install I didn't use the rtv gasket maker I used an actual gasket so it's not as messy. I likes the Allen bolts better it made for better torque application. Make sure you follow the instructions for longevity. I like the fact it has fill and drain plugs. My truck is for show so it doesn't matter if I hear any noise or not cuz it's not a daily driver and I do not tow. I was impressed with how everything turned out.

Great Product! You'll love it! Fits nicely on my 08 Ram 1500. Note that the torque spec on the 12 cover bolts is only 15 ft-lb (vs 30 for orig cover). The load bolts only get 5 ft-lb..they protect your bearings when pulling/hauling heavy loads. Easy fill and drain. Took about 3qts to fill (adds a little more than 1qt to capacity for this truck).. I called B&M to double check torque spec and they said for sure it was 15 ft-lb. I used Royal Purple 75W-140 MaxGear that also contains the friction modifier for Ltd Slip. Used Permatex 81182 RTV Gasket Maker (used about 1/2 of 3 oz tube but you'll probably need less than that..I had to install this thing twice because I lost a fill tube for the oil that fell inside and had to remove cover to retrieve it!!) Better cooling and more oil offer peace of mind for pulling my camper!!

Following the included instructions are a surefire way to make sure that you destroy this before you ever get any use out of it. According to the instructions, you are to tighten the magnetic drain plug to 25 to 30 ft lb but then when you do the aluminum case cracks. Also, the instructions say to tighten the 12 cover bolts to only 15 ft lb which makes no sense because the factory torque spec is 32 ft lb. Don't waste your time on this. You will be disappointed like I was, I contacted Holly (parent company of B&M) to let them know about their product issues and the incorrect instructions and their only solution was to send a replacement or contact Amazon for a full refund. I opted for a full refund, AFE power makes a really nice cover. Spend your money on that.

The 10306 model fit my 04 Ram 1500 with 9.25" rear end perfectly. Don't think that because it's aluminum you'll save weight. It's probably a pound or so heavier then the steel OEM one. I took the spare tire down to put it on but the tire went back in place with no issue. It did add about 3/4 of a quart capacity. My truck doesn't have a sway bar so I can't comment on how that installation would go. I will say the new one sticks out about 1-2" farther then the stock one.

A cheaper and better looking alternative to other axle covers. After my rear axle failed by a manufacturing defect I did not want to leave anything to chance and got this cover installed. I used some Royal Purple gear oil I also purchased from Amazon. This was easy to apply and fill. Because of the drain plug this will be easy to drain and fill in the future when performing the usual regular maintenance. It is very nice looking to boot!

Reduced temp in differential 24 degrees. Over identical 15 mile runs on same day. High quality product stay away from flat back differential cases. This product will help you preserve your rear end if your towing and generally keep diff oil cooler and preserve viscosity.
