This differential cover was a nice upgrade from the stock cover because it makes it easy to drain and fill the differential. The paint is durable, the mounting bolts were the correct length and I did not encounter any of the issues that were reported in older reviews from years past. Installation is easy if your used to turning wrenches. It will be necessary to drop the panhard bar from the passengers side to gain clearance for a pain free straight forward installation. This cover looks great and does what it’s supposed to do. I would buy the Perfect Launch differential cover again.

I was skeptical on buying this product due to all the bad reviews about the paint chipping off when tightening the bolts. Well I believe they solved this issue by now providing washers with the mounting bolts that are rubberized on one side. I was still paranoid about the paint chipping off so I sprayed a little silicone on the rubber washers just to be sure they went on smooth. No paint chip-age. Product looks, feels, and works great.

Looks good feels solid was easy to install came with everything to install used silicone for gasket and it’s good to go. Price was good seen others that aren’t even this stout and don’t look this good priced much higher.

This cover is great and fits perfectly. The bolts are soft and easy to snap. Replaced them with stainless steel bolts.

The product look good and appear sturdy. However, the bonding surface was very grainy. Kind of Nestle Crunchish! And there were about three pretty deep pitted areas on it. The pitted areas are hard to see because the surface is painted black. Moreover, there is no mention of the load bolt washers or how to install them included with brief assembly instructions. As a first time DIY guy, my first installment was not a success. I ended up with a leak. So I disassembled, cleaned and reinstalled. While cleaning the bonding surface area my concerns about the pock marks was confirmed. The pitted areas (that were there before installment) were filled with the sillcone sealant used for bonding. And i could not get it out of the pitted areas without possible doing further damage. I decided to reinstall it again but this with a gasket. This is when I discovered the break away rubber washers rings that can and will get stuck inside the load bolt wells. After Installment and following all time recommendations, I still ended up with a leak.

Looked great pulling it out of the box.. Then the test fit.. Well it fits perfect BUT the paint literally falls off as soon as you touch it..its definitely painted cheap and NOT powder coated like the add said..

Bought this for my Explorer and I think they listened to the complaints from the other consumers because I had no problem with the paint or the bolts and went on just fine and was better than trying to fill my rear diff with no drain or fill plug. Hope it will last over time and will update if needed.

Bought this for a FOXBody Mustang. It's fits perfectly and looks great. Also adds the fill and drain ports which are a great addition over stock.
