Good cover. Heavy duty, precision built and it does lower the rear diff. Temp.It has oring seals on the gurdles that screw in against the carrier bearing caps. Mine does not leak, although my son added some sealer to the outtter threads before running the studs in. They torque to 5 ft lbs. The locking nut also torqued to 5 ft lbs. The instructions are good and clear on installation.

There is a review on here that almost scared me away from this product but I got it anyway and it’s working great 1000-1500 mile later. Follow the instructions and use a torque wrench and you will be fine. Note use the original fill plug on the differential to know when to stop filling it. New fill plug is way higher.

Wonderful look, easy to put on a perfect match! Lot of room in the cover for gears to move around. Would buy again!

Fabulous product, heavy and well-made. It holds nearly 4 quarts of 80W90 too. The big ribs on the bottom look like I could jack up the vehicle on them --- good rock protection for my 4x4.

The only thing that had to be done, had to take down one of the fins to fit as the steering rack was a bit close. (See pics) I should have prefitted prior to having ceramic coated... other then that, perfect fit on front 8.8 diff. - and, get yourself a "316 Stainless Steel 1/2 NPT Hex Head Pipe Plug Fitting" for the fill port as the one shipped with the cover will rust.. its just steel. Drain plug is steel too but it is fitted with a magnet so I didn't swap that out.

Easy to install, really like being able to add extra fluids, along with the extra supports built into this cover, and looks like it wants to eat up some terrain.! Just what the Dr. ordered.

Makes it so much easier to service your diff. Could have been milled with a o ring. Rtv is a little old school.
