This plugged right into my LBZ duramax and worked great all winter long. The stock one ended up getting messed up and this was a great replacement. I had heard the updated block heater plug from the dealer wont supply power until it's really cold. When you have big turbos and big injectors that isn't an option. I need mine to warm my block in any other season other than summer. So I tried this one and it works great. I run mine of an industrial timer meant to handle lots of amps. It comes on about 3 hours before I go out to start my truck and my truck starts easily with no house fire looking haze! Perfect! I'd highly recommend to anyone with an LBZ! It's a great product at a great price!

The length is perfect. After rerouting it, it sticks out from the truck longer so easier to use. The plug how ever fits EXTREMELY tight into my extension cord. Also the plug into the heater was a little tighter than expected

The picture they have of this product is spot on correct…but what they sent me is not the same as in there pictures!! So if you have a 2008 Chevy duramax…DO NOT BUY!!!!

Just installed the cable. Works good. However, it's 10" shorter than the factory one. I was a little irritated at first because I wanted to route it just like the factory one was. I did in a way, and the end result was fine. I just wish it would have been like the original. It also didn't have the heat shield like the original cord. I did end up cutting it off the original one and made it work for this aftermarket cord.Worked good, just wish it was longer like the original.

This cable fit perfectly, and is high quality. Take your time to clean the heater connector on the engine, and route the new cable carefully to protect it.
