This reeeeeally extends. As I was unboxing it, my family was laughing as it wrapped around the upper wall corner and out onto the ceiling. If you need to get a camera up to take aerial photos of any events, this will easily give you the height to do so. My only concern, when fully extended, is that the rod gets thinner as it expands and thus is weaker at holding the weight of the cell phone so it bobbles some, but it does hold it. You just need to pay attention while you are moving it around find a brace point to hold the camera steady once you figure out where you want to place it if you are using maximum length.The Tripod feet are narrow but seem to be solid. I was initially concerned that they might easily bend if I accidentally stepped on them but my son didn't think it would be an issue. In rechecking, I realize they are stronger metal than they seemed due to the lighter weight.It has the remote for snapping a shot when it is 118" away and still scales back down to a reasonably short stick for storage. Not like the mini-umbrella length, but shorter than a cane. Easy enough to take along.I did get a few selfie sticks for different purposes and this one was certainly a taller purpose than I expected. It will be fun for a forgotten camera angle for holiday videos catching spontaneous actions or for some business events to record activities without worrying about crowds stepping into your line of shot.It isn't often that I would need the full length, but my son immediately asked to borrow it for the weekend, as he is remodeling his house and has some attic space he needs to consider when setting up soft lighting. He said it would save him the trip of crawling through the fiberglass insulation to check out the farthest corners. Better he than me, that's for sure! LOLI like it really well. It is light weight and the extension sections allow me to determine just how much extension I need. Nice purchase.

I love this mount/ selfie stick! It's sturdy for the base design and I don't worry about it falling over. Not to mention the range on how far you can stick it out is incredible. The small wireless remote comes in handy since the voice/hand activation features don't always work for all photos. The design feels solid and a tad heavy. However, the only down side I'm going to state here is the base design. I wish they could have done something to tuck in the legs so they weren't precariously dangling when not in use. However, this design feature is shown in the listing and made aware to the customer. The mount portion that holds your phone is very well made and supports large and small phones alike so props to their versatility! Based on the quality I would recommend it to anyone looking for a mount of this variety, especially since it's cheaper than some bigger brand names for similar quality.

This thing is huge. It extends longer than I can fit under my 9' ceiling. The pole is easy to adjust and secure. The small tripod base works as long as you are inside or not in any wind. It's just pretty small compared to the length or height this rod can extend to. I was able to pair up the button to an android phone with no problem and it took photos. So, works as intended.

Concept is nice, I do like the little tripod but I struggle using it. The stick is sturdy.
