I bought them thinking they would be good. The others I looked at have a several-week delivery time and I figure with PRIME Membership I SHOULD NOT have to wait that long.I opened the first one and tried for over a minute to get the thing to grip and NOT SLIDE UP the exterior of the shell. It simply DID NOT WORK! I took the one I opened and deposited it right into the trash can and then I took the second one WITHOUT EVEN OPENING IT and placed it with its friend so it would not get lonely.

I have no idea what types of eggs these are designed for, but they do not work with regular eggs we get in supermarkets where I live (USA). Even small eggs will not fit in the opening to cut the shells.

I wanted to replace a 25+ year old egg cutter, made in Hong Kong and a bit dulled by frequent use. The new one is slightly thicker and sturdier but, unfortunately, the inner diameter is exactly 1 mm (0.0393701 inch) less. And that makes all the difference: it simply won't cut AA (large) eggs. So — the cutter is probably ok for small eggs but definitely not for larger ones.

not too bad for the price. I found it kind of wonky if the egg was too big or small for it. Once I got used to its querks, I was able to get it to work almost every time. not too bad for the cost.

Doesn't work as well as I had hoped. It works but it's just as easy to crack the egg with a knife and peel the top off
