Functionally this has the video quality of a 3-400 dollar name brand camera from a decade ago. Not quite on par with action cameras available for not much more money, but you can see clearly what's going on and those don't generally have: a flashlight, laser pointer or big ir floodlight for night mode. The still picture quality is not good from a camera snob perspective but perfectly solid for taking post accident evidence pics or proving to your family that you DID see a grizzly. The IR illuminators in night mode are awesome, much brighter than my old early sd-card based camcorder. Excellent value.I'm sure someone pointed this out but worth noting: the laser pointer is split. The closer the body cam is to something in front of it, the closer together the laser beams are. This is either a manufacturing defect or a way to show in video how far away someone is. Either way it serves the second function well. Now you can prove the grizzly WAS only 10 feet away, lol.I got it for dog walking but was excited to see it had a dash cam mode. I have not tried it yet, however based on walking with the camera is has zero image stabilization so make sure your dash mount soaks up bumps well if that's your use case!

This body cam is WONDERFUL! I am a security worker and I realized I need proof of things that happen around me (My co-workers sometimes choose to look the other way in stressful situations haha and I am often alone during weird encounters..). I found out it stays charged a minimum of 13 hours (I did not expect it to go over 10 hours) and when/if it is running low it will chirp at you for at least 30 minutes. The SD card insertion/removal is basic (spring loaded type) and the buttons, on the device, are easy to understand/use. I am VERY pleased with this cam. The video/camera viewing quality is also stellar.I honestly have nothing bad to say about this cam :-)

It's well-made and nice-looking. However, I returned my camera because, as an old man, it was hard for me to remember everything about how to use it. For someone younger, I think that will be a nice camera to use

This is much bigger than the boblov portable mini video camera. This unit however includes the ability to record in the dark with IR lights. It includes two different clips of very high build quality. They are very easy to swap out with a metal clip holding it onto the unit with extreme confidence.I was very impressed with the build quality of this body camera. It will be at home on my pack with my Japanese radio equipment. It's hard and thick plastic, very rugged.The operating system is very simple and gets out the way of operation. It's incredible what you can get for so little. A USB cable and AC adapter is included. The shoulder clip can be rotated 180°. The user manual is very in-depth. There are many different options for playing back files that you have recorded on the device itself. There are LEDs to tell you the status. Whether it is recording or on standby taking photos. Recording audio. Red light flash means video recording, yellow light flash means audio recording, Green means standby and a single red flash is a picture.Another interesting feature is that you can set device IDs for the cameras as well as police IDs. The manual is very in-depth about all the features and it is very easy to follow.There are 10 infrared lights and a 3,000 milliamp hour lithium battery that allows 12 to 13 hours of video recording with the screen and IR off with a full charge.The version I bought includes no SD card and my only complaint is that the hole for the SD card is very deep and I had to use a tool from my multi-tool. This is not a big deal, but some users may find it frustrating.

I bought this for when I fly drones, for two reasons. First as a deterrent. There have been a lot of confrontations with irrational and irate individuals against commercial drone pilots lately. I’ve had two confrontations already, neither over-the-edge as I have seen in some online posts. Wearing this tends to keep people in reasonable behavior, where you can at least have a discussion with them. If they do go irrational, I have something for police.Second, I use it for my own safety of flight, record my actions so if I make a mistake, I can review post-flight the situation that led to it.Sound volume is sufficient for both, if people are talking in normal voice. Field of view is OK, but if I ever buy another, I would go for more. If worn on my shoulder, doesn’t catch much to the opposite side of centerline.Most frustrating is the switchology. Press once to do one thing, twice to do another. Also a difference between long push and short push. Can’t tell you the number of false recordings I had when learning. Could definitely use more thought in that design.

Tried it both clipped to myself as well as just set it on the desk to capture video during my shift. So far it’s been great and records in high definition. Battery has been lasting all day
