This is an OK body camera. The video is shaky, as is expected. The higher end body cameras have some sort of image stabilization, but not this one.The white balance is way off. Video quality is acceptable, but not great. User interface is below average. I’ve used the camera several times, and I still can figure out which buttons are which. The buttons are very small, all pretty much the same shape, and the labels are impossible to read. I have had to keep the instructions in my pocket at all times to help use the camera.In addition, the camera itself pivots only down as far as horizontal. I was hoping to use this to video ground prospecting/metal detecting, but it doesn’t pivot down that far. I solved this by mounting it upside down in the clip on holder, and that worked better for my purposes.The battery life is good. I got more than 6 hours when I ran it all day.There is also some way to use it as a dashcam. Will have to investigate this. The instructions are fair, and like I said above, NECESSARY in order to figure out which buttons are which.For the price, this is a decent, but not great product. There are a number of accessories included, which are nice.Recommended with reservations.

Picture quality is alright,the biggest issue I think is the buttons and how they are oriented.its not very clear what is menu how to go forward and back etc.The main OK button gets you into a menu. Both buttons next to it navigate forward and backBut no way to get back to the original menu without turning it off and back on.Very frustrating.The clip also is super tight, if you put it on one way you wont see the screen or buttons, the other wayyou have the screen facing everyone. You can turn it off but sometimes it glitches an turns back on.Overall I think for the cost its good value.

This little cam is a nice addition to my gear—great for capturing a new perspective in my videos. The 180° rotating lens is a cool touch, and the night vision works well. Battery life is decent, but I wish it had a swappable battery instead of being stuck waiting for a recharge. Also, with all the footage I shoot, 128GB fills up fast. A 512gb or 1tb of storage would’ve made this a five-star pick. Still, for what it does, it’s a solid option.

Awsome bodycam, worth the money.

This bodycam is interesting. It gives you decent quality video - it's not crystal clear 4k or anything, it looks a little rough to be honest, but the angle of the video is super super wide so you don't have to worry as much that it's pointing in the right direction because it sees such a wide area. The quality of the video can be forgiven because it think the point of this thing is just to document. Video quality is like 7/10One thing to keep in mind is that the camera rotates so you can have it face the same direction as the screen or flip it around the other way. If you are recording a video and flip the camera it stops recording and starts again when the flip happens.Here is a night vision mode which actually works pretty well.You may curious about a button on the right side that looks like a police siren. If you push that button a red and blue flashing light starts and a literal siren starts blasting, so be careful you don't startle yourself or anyone near you.The device comes with a number of accessories for attaching it to various things like bike handle bars, your clothing, tripods, or you can just hang it around your neck.This is the complete package. If you do work where it's in your interest to record your interactions with people but they don't actually give you a body can this could really help you.

Charging is easy and convenient via USB and I like that if you want, you can attach it to a mount and use it as a makeshift dashcam for your bike if you really wanted.Don't go into this expecting a gopro though. Picture quality is very much good enough for evidence but not really good enough for content.

o right out of the gate I will be stating the following:I really dig this camera and was vary disappointed when it came time to look at my pictures.. With all of this cameras potential waisted on a cheap sensor that ruined the overall grade of my review. I find it perplexing that all the effort put into the design and overall experience. Is overshadowed buy poor decisions and a lack of refinement ware it counts the most. 3.7 out of 5. This said, for those looking for a casual device that can be a fun way to share stills and video. With family, friends and social media. Then this might be the right tool for the job. If overall picture quality doesn't matter to you.The build 4 out of 5:This camera is built for mid to low level use, It offers a fully waterproof body up to IPX6. It features a fully air tight enclosure including the lenses and screens. The buttons are well placed and easy to navigate once learned. All toggles feature a good click feel. But the main trigger is a bit loose and even a small bump can cause false triggering of pictures or videos. This model boasts an integrated LED Flash+ flashlight. Yet isn't vary useful unless you are close to the subject. It also adds a blueish hue to most pictures. With poor CRI, it will create false and dingy colours. That look flat with no vibrancy. There is a 2200Mah battery that can be charged within the main body.The swivel camera:You can rotate the camera head 180 degrees, from top to bottom. Effectively turning the screen towards or away from you depending on what you'd prefer. It also allows you to shoulder mount the camera and shoot forwards and backwards ( ahead or behind ) if you need to do so.The screen 3.5 out of 5:With a 1.3-inch rear screen this camera offers good display brightness but has a narrow viewing angle Before colours and brightness become muted. The screen also lacks in resolution and vibrancy.The sensor+picture quality 2.5 out of 5:This sensor says 1080p but the picture quality looks more like a 720p with overall softer and muddier appearance in pixels and sharpness. It looks like 720p footage from an iPhone 3... So it really lacks refinement. Even the sensors overall noise is higher then expected. This includes in brighter APL scenes that should lower the cameras internal Iso. But they still exhibit noisy shadows and extremely blown out highlights. The camera can't render any type of HDR correctly. It will try but struggles to find a bracketing point. The white balance is another issue, Just like the dynamic range. It can't find the proper balance always fluctuating from cool to warm.Colour rendition 3.5 out of 5:Another soft point of this sensor is the internal colour science. Nothing looks right from the overall poor rendition of the primary colours. To how they mix in the GPU. Skin tones look orange or blue, colour clips and has banding issues when going from dark to light. It really is a hot mess that hampers the potential for greatness.Final thoughts: 3.6 out of 5This camera has many great things going for it and it pains me to give it such a low grade. But I need to be real and bring you guys the truth. This is a fantastic overall product that really suffers from a poor sensor and colour science. It detracts from the rest of this models greatness. Even the colour choices for the main body a nice muted black with subtle refractive coating looks great. The buttons feel good, screens, ease of use, good battery life rugged, flexible and compact. This unit could have been a highly recommended product. Sadly it cannot live up to it's full potential. But if you don't care about overall professional level pictures or videos. Then this is a great product that will bring you hours of enjoyment and enhance you're vacation. Buy allowing you to show more candid content to you're family and friends.

My son does a lot of airsoft and I know he always wanted one of these to record his matches. Immediately upon opening it, I was confident it could survive the rugged use of a teenager running through the woods recording his matches.The camera is surprisingly small but very hefty. It comes with tons of gear to help use it in different scenarios as well. All are easy to use and well made.The camera is easy enough to use, the instructions are easy to follow and we were up and running in no time.Quality of the camera is decent. The photo support on it is pretty basic. If the object isn't moving the output is pretty good but as a STILL camera, it struggles to capture a very clear moving object. Though I don't feel that this is something that will be used as a still camera very often. It feels like a neat bonus, just like the audio recording option, which is good as well.The video capture is much better and is on point. It certainly will capture actions shots well and the videos we've taken with it are crisp and clear. Note that this does distort the image slightly but I believe that is a side effect of it trying to widen how much it is capturing. Really good output though.Getting the images off the camera is a breeze. You can either pop out the microSD card or plug the whole camera into your PC. The files are sorted in folders and you can pull out the images, audio, or video as individual files. I do find it interesting that it uses the .mov format, perhaps they are looking to minimize compression artifacts by using something like MP4. Not sure. Though it's not a problem.Overall, it's a great bodycam that will survive the rugged use outdoors, but if you are looking to take scenic pictures or high definition video of a special event... stick to your phone.
