I followed the instructions by placing in the dryer to fluff it up. It helped but it seemed to separate in the middle. Then VOILA within a day or so it filled out; no more separation! I've been using a Bolster Pillow for Lumbar and Leg Support between my legs as I am a side sleeper with back problems. Yet it's not long enough to drape my arm over, so I was twisting my spine. As a result I'd still wake up with back pains after 4 years use. This body pillow did the trick. I can put my entire bent leg on it plus it's long enough to place my arm on it. No more back pain! I'm surprised and pleased how firm the body pillow is; it has a zipper if you want to take some foam out. Speaking of zippers the velvet-like cover has a zipper that is nearly impossible to close when trying to put it on the body pillow. The zipper tab to pull on is small and slim, difficult to get a hold of. I finally got it in a half hour, sweating bullets that the zipper tab would come off. That very comfortable crushed velvet look/feel cover is staying on for life. Febreze will be my new best friend.

Pillow came with the zipper undone.. make sure u check it before sticking Ãt in the dryer . Otherwise good product

This pillow came in an unbelievably small package and I had initial doubts it could ever been the firmness I needed. I was surprised how it fluffed up to a wonderful moderately firm Pillow of the advertised size. I have used it for about a week now to position my legs and it is great.I did wait 48 hours before using and washed the pillowcase. No odor after tossing for 45 minutes in a no heat dryer.

I place it below my regular pillows (I have 4 normal ones, 2 stay on the bed flat and the other two rotate with me at night) so it supports my back more and I have another body pillow I can grab into for comfort. Overall, very satisfied. Personally I would like more stuffing in it but it's too much for me right now to buy it. I don't wake up with a sore lower back anymore or a stiff neck!

Came packaged very well, and very small! But fluffed up quickly upon opening. I threw it is the dryer for a few minutes as suggested. No odor, cover was a bit of a struggle to get on, zipper pull is very small. Pillow stays pretty cool, nice to cuddle , firm but not too firm.

My wife found this too firm but I find that that is actually a good thing if you want to take pressure of your hips and a side sleeper.Replacing an older flat body pillow this is much much more rigid and slimmer but at least it doesn't sink so I'm waking up much more refreshed.Shape is definitely something to adjust to coming from the flatter style pillow and may not be for everyone

I like the fact you can open the inner pillow and remove some of the foam chips to make it thinner. It was too big for me to comfortably throw my leg over when sleeping on my side, so I scaled it down. I added the extra foam to a pillow that was starting to sag. Or you could use to it make throw cushions.
