My child loves the weight of these pillows and it provides so much comfort. I would recommend the small size for a child. The color options are beautiful. It has helped ease anxiety and provide comfort. The material is soft and feels luxurious. The cost is high but a small sale makes it more worth the purchase.

If you are stuck between two sizes, get the smaller. This thing is heavy and solid. Not squishy at all. The one I got should’ve been the correct one for my size, but it was too big to hold against me. Wish I would’ve returned it and gotten a smaller size. Or maybe even something a little more squishy.

Let me start out by saying the ONLY reason I rated this 4/5 stars was because of the price. Without a doubt, this is a luxury item, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I personally wanted this pillow for months until I got to the point where I knew I wouldn’t regret the purchase. And boy was I right! This pillow seriously helps my anxious thoughts that I usually have a night. It feels like a hug, and it is very high quality. The weight is enough to trick your brain that there’s someone sitting next to you, even if you just have it beside you in bed without holding it. It helps with loneliness as well, and I’m even considering purchasing a smaller size to take with me in the car wherever I go. Yes, it’s made that much of an impact on me. So if you’re on the fence, maybe wait on it and then go ahead and purchase it. You won’t be disappointed.

The reviews convinced me to buy this as it is very expensive but it seems it will last a long long time as you don’t use it as a pillow but as a cushion and for hugging.It has been worth it for me personally as I try everything and anything to improve my sleep. The weight of this pillow is perfectly balanced, and when it’s on top of you or by your side leaning on you, it truly does have a significant effect on your mood and the weighted presence calms you down. I have it lean against me while sleeping or on top of me and have fallen asleep this way, it’s very nice!I’ve used weighted blankets but the problem is their weight constantly shifts due to the beads moving around and I can’t use them in the summer due to being too thick and heavy.The pillow is exceptionally well made, there is no sagging or movement of weight as the beads are somehow all tightly woven inside and it’s feels completely stable, with a soft and fuzzy outside cover. I cover it with a pillow case since it sometimes falls out of my bed.

I was really skeptical about this weighted pillow, especially for the price, how good could a weighted pillow be, and is it actually that different than a weighted blanket?Well after using it for a week now, I'm asking myself why didn't I get this sooner?? This has been a complete game changer in my daily routine, I have it on my lap when I work from home, I have it on me when I watch TV, and I have it at night when I go to sleep. The only downside is I should have gotten two because my wife always tries stealing it from me...In all seriousness, I really like the softness but also the weight of the pillow, it's just comforting, allows me to really ease my mind when I'm trying to relax, but also puts me into a bit of a zen like concentration when I'm trying to be productive.In terms of comparisons with my weighted blanket, I actually prefer the pillow more as even though it's actually heavier than my blanket, it's just easier to carry. Especially when sleeping too, I roll around ALOT and my biggest issue with the weighted blanket is I can't easily turn, but with the pillow it's easier for me to switch sides.*Also, one of my favorite uses so far was during Christmas having people over, and casually tossing this to them to get their reaction when they don't expect a 12lb pillow haha!

What a cool concept! I had heard of weighted blankets, but getting the same benefits of stress reduction through a pillow is soooo much more convenient. I ordered the small in Agave Green and it is perfect.I love that the pillow can sit on my lap while I work at the computer. It's really easy to carry around the house and move from my home office to the couch or bed. Also, this isn't just to hug or hold while you sleep -- it actually helps me focus when I need to be productive. I find the shape awkward and the stress reducing impact minimal. Way overpriced.
