This is a relatively new piece of equipment in my home gym but I have used it a couple times already and am very impressed. The bench is pretty much built like a rock. No matter what exercise I do on the bench it will not wobble at all. Even when doing triceps dips and such. One thing I didn't do was install the wheels. They send two wheels to attach to the back of the bench for easy mobility I'm guessing but anything I'm going to trust with my weight plus with weight that can easily harm/kill me I did not find any purpose to making easily slid able. I'm sure its very safe and will not move when your on the bench but I personally don't want to take the risk.Now anyone else who has purchased from Body Solid before know that there instruction manuals are just a joke. Its a piece of paper showing the parts with dotted lines leading to where they go. This bench is so easily put together with such few parts though that this is not a problem at all. I think it took me around 30 minutes to assemble compared to the 2-3 hours it took for my other 3 pieces of equipment I have off them.Bottom line is I love the bench and am very happy to have it in my collection. First 5 star review I have given. I also always feel secure when I buy off Body Solid since you will always have a lifetime warranty as long as you fill out the warranty form and send it back within ten days of arrival.

I weigh 260lbs and 6'5''. This bench is very solid and holds me up with no wobbling or anything. I would say this is GYM QUALITY. The wheels glide really smooth. They are like roller blade wheels. I have only one bad thing to say about this bench and it may or may not be a problem for you........ it does not stand straight up when you stand it on its end. Because the frame is longer than the bench. I assume this is for stability, which it definitely accomplished. But it is annoying for me because I wanted to stand this up to take up less space when Im not using it. You cannot do that. It mush stay horizontal, so it takes up space when not using it. I would have given this bench 5 stars if it werent for that minor annoyance.

This is a decent sturdy home exercise bench. However, in my opinion there is a design flaw that makes assembly a lot harder than it should be. The flanges that attach the bench to the frame and the bench pad have bolt holes that are extremely close to each other preventing the use of a ratchet/socket for assembly AND pinning your box wrench in place once the bolts are tightened. This makes leveling the bench pad a crap shoot. You either have to install the flanges to the frame first and hope the bench pad lines up (it didn't on two tries) -OR- install the flanges to the bench pad first and then hope they line up with the frame holes (they didn't). I finally flipped it upside down, slowly alternated tightening each of the eight bolts using a crescent wrench and channellock combo (ugh, not the right tools), until the pad was secured securely and level. What should have been a 15/20 minute install took about an hour. I believe this is why several of the reviews say the bench isn't sturdy. Unless you have it level it does feel wobbly. Once leveled, it's solid as a rock.

Couldn't ask for more out of a bench really.It's sturdy and does it's job well. Which is to be sturdy, and not collapse under load. So far so good.The only thing I experienced was receiving incorrect bolts. BodySolid however was able to rectify the situation. The only problem was they made me measure the damn incorrect bolts and it took two weeks to finally get the new (correct) bolts sent.Still, not worth taking a star off the bench. I wasn't in that huge of a rush for it, or I may have to reconsider a star or two. Alas, I am satisfied with this bench and have no desire to deter anyone from purchasing.

This product was very deceiving since when I ordered I received without cushion supporters and screws! I really needed it by the time it arrived but was very dissapointed and even had to reschedule a training session because of this lack of quality assurance and customer satisfaction. Don't buy this if you want a complete set bench with all assembly parts included.

My husband has greatly enjoyed this bench for working out. It is very sturdy and was easy to assemble. He preferred it over other benches because it is only 20" high enabling him to place his feet firmly and completely flat on the floor when bench pressing which gives him better leverage, balance and overall form. Proper positioning when working out is an absolute must to avoid injury. He highly recommends this bench.

just make sure you do not tighten the long bolt that runs through the brackets the pad is attached to until you get the bolts for the pad in place. I made this mistake and the bolts on the bottom of the pad did not line up to the brackets, If you do this first it will make the brackets level also. The instructions only have a photo , no step by step. Once the bench is assembled it is solid and does not wobble. $180.00 is pretty steep but it is a sturdy piece of equipment.
