The frame is made from 3" x 3" heavy gauge steel tubing with a tough powdercoat finish. The backrest pad is constructed of high density foam padding with a sweat resistant top grade vinyl that is easy to clean. Weighing in at a hefty 52 lbs, the DF8000 Flat Bench is stable and strong for all your demanding workouts.

I AM 80 YR OLD & HAVE BEEN LIFTING WEIGHTS FOR OVER 30 YRS. I RECENTLY BOUGHT A TOP QUALITY CABLE MACHINE & HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR 6.5 YRS,6 X A WEEK 1-2 HRS A DAY. I WAS LOOKING FOR A NEW FLAT BENCH. I HAD PREVIOUSLY TRIED 2 DIFFERENT BENCHES FROM AMAZON(ANOTHER TOP QUALITY CO. MY WEIGHT ROOM HAS CARPET & THESE 2 FLAT BENCHES HAD WHEELS ABOUT THE SIZE OF A RITZ CRACKER. BOTH WERE RETURNED. I JUST ORDERED & RECEIVED THIS FLAT BENCH & THIS IS AS GOOD AS ITS GETS. VERY WELL MADE & WELL WORTH THE $$YOU CAN'T GO WRONG ON THIS ONE. HAPPY LIFTING & GOD BLESS THE USA.

I purchased this to use in place of an adjustable bench for flat (bench press) use. The other bench was good enough but did wobble and I was concerned that I could possibly be approaching its max weight. I considered getting a much more premium incline bench but even the really expensive ones were not that great so I decided 2 benches was a better option. This bench is solid and has no wobble. Based on how its built I think it can handle more than I will ever be able to bench press. Also the inclusion of actual wrenches was a nice touch. They were kinda loose (maybe they are metric wrenches and standard bolts). Overall happy with purchase.

This flat bench is my workhorse. It is simple by design and I get a professional feel with it: good cushion, easy to move with the wheels and lifting lever. Is as nice os other private label benches that are more than twice the cost. Easy to put together. PS: I have no wobble so not sure about those other reviews. It even comes with 2 nice wrenches to put together!

Of the primary lifts for strength and power development, the bench press receives much more attention than its usefulness indicates. Still, it is a useful lift. After using weighted dips for awhile, I decided to get a real bench and give it a go but didn't want to spend more than I did on the stands (Christian's Fitness Factory Gen 1 Squat Stands) in my garage gym.Deltech's Fitness Flat Exercise Bench was perfect for me. The CFF Gen 1 Stands are rated to hold 600 pounds and I added adjustable metal saw horses rated for 1000 pounds as a safety catch. This bench will hold about 750 pounds. A 200 pound lifter can use this set up to bench 500 pounds with weight to safely spare. I look forward to working up to a point where this is no longer heavy enough.The first thing I noticed is the pieces of the bench, including the assembly hardware, is heavy duty. I suspect the 750 pound "limit" is an underestimate. There is zero wobble. Very solid!Please note, the five stars are due to the quality *for the price.* I understand there are much better benches available but they cost at least twice as much. For the money, you can't get a better bench.

I like this bench a lot. I'm 6'0, and it's long enough and wide enough to offer great support while bench pressing. It was easy to assemble, and it seems pretty bulletproof. Caveat: I weigh 190 and am only benching 165 right now, so the most weight I've put on it is 355 lbs.The only complaint I have is that, while the welding is good quality, it's not the most precise. The bench was a bit hard to level, even keeping the bolts loose as instructed, and I discovered that the support brackets on the leg where it meets the seat aren't completely straight - they're welded on imprecisely. Not cool. I was hoping this made-in-the-USA product would be of higher quality. However, I quickly solved the problem by placing a lock washer between the leg support bracket and the bracket on the bottom of the seat, and after that, it leveled fine.All in all I'm happy with the purchase so far, and I would recommend it - it's much more stable than other benches I've tried, and the bottom line is that I think it's a good value for the price. I'll update if I have any issues.

DF8000 Flat Exercise Bench - extremely well made and very sturdy. No way this bench wobbles on my flat workout floor. 10 out of 10!

First of all, the black bench part is NOT, I repeat, NOT made of 'Top Grade Vinyl' like it states here on Amazon. This is very misleading and comes very close to false advertising. The vinyl material is cheap looking and the stitching is only adequate. The vinyl is kind of loose and not taught, not what you would find at a commercial gym.Other than what I said above, it will be good for residential use indoors only. In a commercial gym, the black bench part would get tore up in no time but now I have to wrap my own bath towel or something around it so hopefully the bench will last longer.The rest of the bench is pretty much fine. The white metal frame feels sturdy and heavy duty enough, which is what you would hope to find in a bench.

The bench is very easy to assemble and of good value for the price. I read the reviews and saw everyone wrote about a wobble and I got a wobbler too. For 100 bucks beggars can't be choosers, but the wobble is bad. I am going to have to play around with it to find a safe fix, but it is something anyone can fix. I weigh about 270 right now with bench near 500 and it supported the weight just fine. (Ignoring, of course the wobble)
