I ordered this thimble on a whim as the metal thimbles I have always used were no longer as comfortable or kept falling off my finger. This leather thimble is excellent, conforms to your finger tip and its properties allow more control of the needle. Good purchase.

My hands are not that big. I'm a woman and I wear a size 8 glove. I can get this on my finger but if I ever need another I'll buy a larger size.

No negatives found with this thimble. Everything is positive. the fit is snug, but not tight on my finger. I absolutely hate metal thimbles and simply refused to use them. I have long fingernails and metal was not conducive to a proper fit. Thus, the leather. This one, along with the Clover Natural Fit Leather Thimble are great, comfortable, and long wearing.

When I knit I have the habit of pushing the tip of the working needle with my left index finger. It makes for a sore finger sometimes. This solves the problem. It’s sturdy and shouldn’t come apart like some of the other leather thimbles I’ve bought for this purpose. It does NOT, however, have a metal bit in the pad of the finger so a sharp sewing or quilting needle could pierce it if you try hard enough. Not an issue for me. For my purposes this is perfect.

I've only ever worked with metal thimbles. I disliked them greatly. However, when I received this thimble, it was a smidge too tight, but I figure with use it will stretch a bit. It fits very well and seems to add a great deal of padding so I cannot feel the needle at all when using it. Thanks!

It's comfortable, the double-thickness at the finger pad is an excellent cushion, and unlike metal thimbles the end of the needle doesn't slip out and stab me.

I really like this leather thimble and it's really comfy to use. Rather expensive but I don't regret buying it as I hate wearing a traditional thimble and they never fit my finger properly, especially if my nails are a but long - no such worries with this one though!

This protects my fingers but doesn't make it hard to handle the needle or thread. The only challenge is that the needle sometimes slips through the seam.

I love BOHIN products and this is a Beautiful quality thimble. I ordered the medium size and its fits well and is so much more comfortable. I usually take size 15 or size 6 thimble. Very pleased with the item
