I haven't put them to use in a project yet, but they all tested OK, so I am hopeful that they will preform as advertised.

As others have stated, this is a bad substitute for the original with the same designation

They do work as P-channel MOSFETs. The one thing I want to point out is that they have excessive resistance. International Rectifier's claimed Rds on resistance for the IRF4905 is 0.02Ω. I measured these at between 0.07Ω and 0.09Ω. For my application that is not super significant (the worst effect being extra heat to deal with), but it definitely deserves to be noted. These are not the real IR part.

These are obvious counterfeit transistors. My Atlas identifier says these aren't even MOSFET's... Some of them tested as bjt's others just gave an error...

I am pleased w/ this purchase. The package included 10 transistors. Each was labelled "4905 B9P0". All were functional. I tested (a) on/off-state function and (b) turn-on threshold voltage. All showed on/off-state consistent w/ a P-channel MOSFET. To measured the turn-on voltage I began at -1.3v, applied on the gate, moving progressively more negative to -6v, and concurrent measured the current across source and drain. Gate turn-on voltage was consistent w/ the datasheet (range -2v to -4v): all units were fully turned-on within this range. At -1.3v and -2.5v the current was 58% and 95-100%, respectively, of the ultimate plateau current. I did not test (a) turn on/off time; nor (b) voltage/current near max allowed values.
