Kiyonal Cut Paste from JAPAN
Kiyonal is the Japanese bonsai tool brand.
Kiyonal cut paste was developed for all bonsai lovers, from beginners to professionals. It can be used for garden trees and fruit trees as well.
Using tips
Before apply kiyonal, please cut or prune the branch with following tools.
- Bonsai grafting knife
- Bonsai concave cutter
- Bonsai keyhole saw
We recommend Japanese garden tools since they are razor-sharp blades for trees.
How to use
1. Take a small amount
Pick up a small amount of the putty paste with your fingers and roll it into a proper amount.
TIPS
When using the product, wet your hand with water for easier use.
2. Paste onto the cut
Paste on branches after pruning or grafting. Apply the paste so that the cut end is completely covered.
3. Leave it
If cracks appear in the paste, reapply as necessary. It is putty type, so it is easy to remove.

The best way to apply is to roll some in a ball and press it into and around the cut with your thumb. Someone suggested having damp hands so the putty does not stick to your skin. It works well and the color blends nicely with tree bark so that glaring pruning wounds and cuts are not "in your face".

I am thrilled with this product. I wanted paste to heal the thorn-removal cuts on my Meyer Lemon tree. The cuts are small and this paste was easy to apply on tiny cuts without making a mess. The paste blends in with the bark, so it's not noticeable. I have used it on other garden plants with larger cuts and it is super easy to apply and stays in place.

Just moisten your finger a little bit, so it doesn't stick when you're smoothing it overt the cut, and it works like a charm! Perfect cut putty and a little goes a long way!

This product has a pleasant aroma and is easy to use. The grey colour blends in well with the tree trunk unlike some of the other products that are very bright and stick out like a sore thumb. As others mentioned wetting your finger and thumb helps to prevent it from sticking to you. It's very maluable and a little goes a long way. Highly recommend if your looking for a wound cut putty. Thank you for a Great product, i will buy again when needed.
